Taking Heed Of Jesus' Last Few Words To Me

 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father these were the last few words from Jesus to me.  I am to make disciples and teach them to love you and share your love to others by your grace and mercy.  I shall always take these two commands seriously and carry out conscientiously for you are always with me. I desire to walk in your ways by your wisdom and love, and fulfill the works you have for me. Let this last day of 2015 be a blessed time reflecting on your goodness and kindness toward me.  I commit the year 2016 in your loving hand.  In Jesus' name I pray.

Living Victorious Is Living Blamelessly Before God

While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place. And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers and said, "Tell people, 'His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.'  Matthew 28:11-13  ESV.

1. Guards personally encountered heavenly visitation of angelic being.
2.  Chief priests heard firsthand experience of the truth. Chose to deceive the people and nation by bribing the guards.
3. Guards collaborated with the evil plan.
4. Results: Whole nation is deceived.

Dear Heavenly Father despite the awesome  supernatural, and even "near death" experience by the guards, human greed still prevails and evil rampant. My prayer to you is that i may conscientiously do your work and not let pride, fear, envy, love of money and many more, to become a stumbling block to myself and others especially those who are still groping in the dark. I ask for your strength today as i do the works that you have laid in my heart. In Jesus' name i ask and pray.

I Believe In A Risen Saviour

But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you."  Matthew 28:5-7  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this wonderful passage on Christ's resurrection from the dead affirms my faith in a risen Saviour.  These two Marys greatly rejoiced with this angel who was elected to herald the greatest new of all times to fallen man. Father as i face many challenging questions posed by people of various beliefs and convictions, may i always remember to herald this beautiful news of my risen Saviour which shall enable them to open their heart to Jesus. Thank you Jesus for dying and raising up for me. May my heart always be grateful and joyful to you for given me your life. In your awesome name i thank you.

The Power Of God IsTruly Beyond Human Comprehension

And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.  Matthew 28:2-4  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father that moment when the angelic being entered this earth was indeed awe-strucking and beyond the grasp of human mind. Those human guards just dropped dead! Father God, help me to have a proper perception of your supernatural power, majestic glory and awesome work in all of your creations. May i prepare my spiritual heart to worship you and walk supernaturally with you for the year 2016. Yes Father, it is my desire to keep my heart pure and faith simple so that i can minister in love and power to see your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus' mighty name i pray.

God Over Rules All Human Wisdom And Obstacles

Therefore order the tomb to be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples go and steal him away and tell the people, 'He has risen from the dead,' and the last fraud will be worse than the first." Pilate said to them, "You have a guard of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can."  So they went and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.  Matthew 27:64-66  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father i want to walk in your wisdom and see human obstacles be removed for you rule and over rule all forces, be it natural or supernatural. Grant me the insight and understanding on how to minister according to your ways as you lead me to share about your divine love with the lost, pray for the sick or provide practical help to the poor. Strengthen my faith in you as i put my trust in your promises, hope and encouragement that are found in your Word. Let this Sabbath day be a blessed day reflecting upon your goodness and kindness in my life. In Jesus' name i pray.

Worshipping Jesus In Awe And Holy Fear

When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, "Truly this was the Son of God!"  Matthew 27:54  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this element of holy fear is what i need to truly worship you as my Lord and my God. May I see you also as the Creator of the whole universe. At night when my eyes gaze upon the vastness of the heavenlies, i know it is but only a glimpse of your majesty and glory. Help me to look heavenward and fill my thoughts with the beauty of your heavenly kingdom. I know this world will fade away and there shall be a new heaven and earth when you return. Let me learn to worship you in spirit and in truth bringing you joy and gladness. I know that you deeply and truly love me, since the beginning of time. In Jesus' majestic name i pray.

Jesus' Obedience, Sufferings And Resurrection Resulted In Eternal Life With God

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit.  And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.  Matthew 27:50-53  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father the more I know and reflect on Jesus' obedience in suffering and the reality of His resurrection, I rejoice over the eternal hope He brings to all sinners.  His painful death is truly beyond my comprehension. His death brings life to me and I thank you for all the benefits through Christ.  I have my sins forgiveness, peace in my heart and salvation to my soul. I can worship God now and throughout eternity. Father I have received everything from you because of Christ's life, death, resurrection and ascension.  May my heart be ever ready for His return, and prepare to give an account for all the things bestowed upon me as His steward.  In Jesus' wonderful name I give thanks and pray.

Completely Abandoned So That I Can Be Totally Accepted

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" that is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"  Matthew 27:46  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this deep feeling of abandonment felt by Jesus is beyond me. Any thought of separation from you is scary and most frightening. Father may i reflect on the eventual abandonment for those who yet to have a personal relationship with you. May i have the burden to intercede for the lost souls for without Christ they will be forever abandoned in eternity. Help me to be compassionate and motivated to reach out to these people. In Jesus' name i pray.

Every Sin Calls For True Repentance

Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." They said, "What is that to us? See to it yourself." And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he went and hanged himself.  Matthew 27:3-5  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father it hurts you when i sin against you for i have been bought by the precious blood of Jesus. May i be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's prompting and leading especially in subtle moments of temptation. Teach me to walk in the Spirit and not to succumb to the desires of the flesh. May i learn to truly repent, seek your forgiveness, and forsake the wrongdoing whenever i do sin against you. Let there be evidence of the fruit of repentance. I thank you for your grace, the empowered strength, to live daily with purity of heart, purpose in living, and power in serving. In Jesus' wonderful name i pray.

Isolation And Separation To Bring Reconciliation

When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death. And they bound him and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate the governor.   Matthew 27:1-2  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father as I come to this passage describing the beginning of Jesus' isolation and seperation from loved ones, especially His disciples and family, and particularly His mother Mary, I feel so thankful for this deliberate act of obedience with the passionate desire to bring forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration to man. The kindness and goodness of Jesus is about your great love for me.  Father let my heart be deeply rooted in this wonderful spiritual truth, and let me truly embrace your love dearly and daily. I pray that you will lead me to someone who shall to receive your divine love today.  In Jesus' precious name I pray and give thanks.

Father, Forgive My Sins

And Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times." And he went out and wept bitterly.  Matthew 26:75  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father though your grace is sufficient for all my needs, i ask you to forgive my sins. I confess every word spoken and action taken that either deny you or deceive others whether intentionally or unintentionally. Cleanse me and make me whole Father. May i grow more like Christ each day. I want to stand blameless before your throne of grace. Thank you for listening to my prayer. In Jesus' name i pray.

Obedient Life Is A Yielded Life Unto God

And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."  Matthew 26:39  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father i am feeling this deep sense of gratitude as i reflect on the intensity ofJesus' grief and sorrow during this crucial end of His journey. Indeed my sins could only be atoned and gift of eternal life freely received through the completely yielded life of Jesus.  Father may i always cherish the love of Jesus for me. Also, may my heart have this same love to want to share with others about Jesus' sacrificial love. In Jesus' name I pray.

Truly Jesus Experienced Extreme Sorrow and Suffering To Save Humanity

Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.” And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”  Matthew 26:38-39  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father truly Jesus experienced extreme sorrow and suffering to save me from sins and eternal damnation. As I reflect on the last lap of your earthly journey with the Father, Lord Jesus, you are  very clear, determined and focused to fulfill the will of God especially at the most crucial and important moment of your earthly life. I am indeed unworthy to receive this gift of eternal life. Thank you Lord Jesus for your grace which has granted me this uncondional gift made possible by your sinless life, sacrificial death, and truimphant resurrection.  Thank you for this eternal hope which brings divine peace in my heart and immeasurable joy to my spirit.  May I live a life worthy of your name, as a Christian in the Body of Christ.  May others see me as the light of the world and salt of the earth as I live by faith in you and your Word daily.  In your precious name I pray and give thanks.

God's Divine Forgiveness Helps Me To Be Gracious And Forgiving

Peter answered him, "Though they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away." Jesus said to him, "Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times." Peter said to him, "Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you!" And all the disciples said the same.  Matthew 26:33-35  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father let the word of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable unto you in everything i do, say and reflect today for you know everything that is my heart. Father i am deeply amazed as i think about the vastness and extent of your forgiveness which stretches from the east to the west. O Father it is beyond the comprehension of my finite mind. The forgiveness experienced by Peter for denying you three times amply shows the magnitude of your grace and mercy through this divine forgiveness. Help me to be gracious with my words and forgiving in my heart while interacting with various people today. In Jesus' name i pray.

My Sins Are Forever Forgiven By Jesus' Blood

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.  Matthew 26:26-28  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father since the day I asked Jesus into my life, my sins have been forgiven forever for Jesus' blood completely cleansed them and made me blameless in God's sight. I am now living each day by putting my trust in Christ, and walking with Him daily with His peace, love and joy in my heart. Each time I do sin again, I can always confess to Him and ask Him for His forgivness so that I shall have fellowship and communion with Him every moment. Father may I be conscientious in walking uprightly in your presence. May my heart be pure and faith simple every day.  In Jesus' wonderful name I pray.

Turning My Brokenness Into Beautiful Thing Unto Jesus Today

But Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a beautiful thing to me. For you always have the poor with you, but you will not always have me. In pouring this ointment on my body, she has done it to prepare me for burial. Matthew 26:10-12 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father it was truly a beautiful thing done to you despite being a social outcast labelled on this woman. Father i see the beauty in her heart and her deep love for you displaying a very pure and intimate affection for you. Thank you Father for this example of showing me how to demonstrate unconditional love to you. May i put aside time today to have some reflective moment and  meditate on this wonderful example. May i love you personally and unconditional today despite my brokeness and weaknesses. In Jesus' name i pray.

Absolute Obedience Till The Last Breath

You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.  Matthew 26:2 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father the life that Jesus lives is a life of total obedience to you and He fulfills the perfect plan for Him, even to the point of death. And in His last breath, His last word was "It is finished!". As i reflect on how Jesus ends His earthly life, Father may i increase in my desire to live my life purposefully and meaningfully modelled after Jesus that your perfect will be fulfilled in me. Grant me your grace which will empower me to live a godly and holy life releasing the richness of your unconditional love and mighty power to touch many thirsty souls around me. In Jesus' name i pray.

Every Act Of Kindness Done Is To And For Jesus

Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' Matthew 25:37-40 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father every act of kindness to the poor and sick means so much to you for it is an act done to and for Jesus. O Lord i am feeling elated, empathic and empowered as i now grasp the depth of your compassion and mercy for the downtrodden, despised and disadvantaged. I indeed have no excuse not to do the work of God for such needs are everywhere. Father help me to be other-centred and willing to go extra mile. Once again i pray that my heart be pure and faith simple as you guide me to someone needy today. In Jesus' name i pray.

What Would True Dsiciple Of Jesus Do?

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’  Matthew 25:34-36 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father these six areas of ministry mentioned here are what every true disciple would do for these are what Jesus and His disicples had done 2000 years ago. O Father guide me to reach out to the hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick and the prisoner for these marginalised people truly need your grace and mercy to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. May I experience a greater joy embracing this work that is so dear and close to your heart. Holy Spirit thank you for leading, teaching and empowering me to do the work of God. In Jesus' precious name I pray.

Good And Faithful Steward Brings Joy To God

And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’  His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.  Matthew 25:20-21  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father every day is a gift from you, and it is also a day to be responsible and accountable over all the things you have entrusted to me. What I have can be used to bless others, especially those who are orphans, widows, sick and the poor. Teach me to be faithful in big and small things trusting that you will multiply and give the increase in your perfect time. May I focus on heavenly things that really matter for the earthly things given to me, which are time, talents and treasure, are but means to share your unconditional love and grace to soften their hearts so that they shall be open to receive Christ as personal Saviour and Lord.  Father I commit this blessed Saturday to your loving hand asking you to guide me to be a blessings to someone who needs a touch from you,  In Jesus' wonderful name I pray and give thanks!

Getting My Heart Condition Ready For Christ's Return

And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.  But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.  Matthew 25:10-13 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus you talk about your death, resurrection and ascension to the Father. Now in this passage, you talk about your return and instruct me to get myself - heart, mind, soul and strength, to be ready for your return, just like the 5 wise virgins.  Father I pray that i will not be sucked into this world system of buying and selling which simply seeks to satisfy man's fleshy desire, and has nothing to do the spirit man or you, Father God. May I be diligent in reading and meditating on your living Word every day, and let my spirit be strengthened and heart readied for your return. Guide me to Bible believing people who are like-minded and watchful to usher in your second coming .  In your name Jesus I pray.

Faithful In Small, Fruitful In Big

Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.  Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.  Matthew 24: 45-47 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for this wonderful privilege of taking care of and responsible for the talents, treasures and time given to me each day, week, month and year. May the joy of the Lord continue to be my strength, as I seek to be and remain faithful to the Kingdom's work all the days of my life.  Holy Spirit help me to work with you closely, and may I be able to discern your voice from the voices of the world. Grant me the wisdom and insight to recognise fruits that are of eternal values, however small they may seem to be now.  May I be focused and nurture them faithfully.  Let me demonstrate faithfulness to the things you have entrusted to me today. In Jesus' wonderful name I pray. 

Christ Shall Return While The World Continues With Business As Usual

For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.  Matthew 24:37-39 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this is a very solemn warning to me in that I need to be ever watchful and alert every day, for Christ shall return while the world continues with business as usual like the days of Noah. May my morning thought be mindful of the urgency to share the good news with both strangers and friends, and my evening thoughts be a grateful heart of thanksgiving for your grace, mercy and love every moment of the day. Teach me Holy Spirit to depend on your guidance to say and do the things for today. I also ask for wisdom and discernment to recognise the times and seasons of endtimes, so that my heart is always in alignment with the Kingdom's agenda.  In Jesus' gracious name I pray.

God's Word Is Eternal And Life-Changing

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.  Matthew 24:35 ESV

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for giving me your Word that gives hope, comfort, promises, joy, peace and many more. I ask for wisdom and understanding as I meditate on your Word. I desire to walk in confidence with you and do your perfect will for my life. May my heart be filled with your living Word and experience the joy of abundant life upon which I find true meaning and purpose for being a child of God. Father may I also experience the joy of sharing your Word of comfort with someone today. In Jesus' name I pray and give thanks.

Jesus Is Coming Again!

Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.  Matthew 24:30-31 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus this scriptural passage is awesome, powerful and indeed beyond my imagination, as I ponder on your eventual entrance to earth which shall be in power and great glory! Lord you are coming to gather everyone who belongs to you for yourself, so that this union as promised, shall be once and for all, eternal and forever. Let this marvelous truth inspire me to live responsibly with everything you have entrusted me.  May I be a good steward.  As I continue to meditate on this promise of your return, Holy Spirit, teach me, guide me and empower me as light of the world and salt of the earth, so that I shall not lose sight of this promise.  Thank you Jesus and in your precious name I give thanks and praise.

Deeply Rooted And Grounded In Christ

Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.  Matthew 24:23-24 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father as the world events unfold, it is getting clearer that the days are evil and many hearts are turning cold towards the truth of Christ's love. Your Word serves to remind me that my faith has to be deeply rooted and grounded in Christ. Though temptations are getting more subtle and trials more unexpected, your Word shall always be the lamp upon my feet and the light to my path. Father I pray for an increase in the ability to discern the spirit of deception, falsehood and lies. I trust in your power to sustain me and your grace to strengthen me, as I keep walking in your light and abiding in your love.  In Jesus' precious name I pray.

God's Love In Me Shall Withstand All Things Till Christ's Return

And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 23:12-13 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father many things are bringing fears, worries and confusions while living in this era of human history. My desire is to keep abiding in your love and obey your Word daily. Father let my faith be simple and heart pure as I turn my eye upon Jesus and look into His marvelous face for strength each day.  I pray that my heart will not turn cold towards people particularly those who are difficult to love and challenging to accept. May the joy of the Lord strengthen me to walk in your love. In Jesus' joyful name I pray.

Belonging To Jesus

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!  Matthew 23:37 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus the feeling of belonging to you affirms my true identity for i am saved, healed and delivered by your sacrificial life making it possible to gather me into your fold. Let today, a beautiful Friday, be a blessing to everyone whom i shall be interacting. May your divine love, a precious heavenly gift, be uniquely experienced by all. Lord i commit this wonderful day into your guiding hand. May every task be done and every person spoken to glorify you. In your precious name i ask and pray.

God Sees The Heart

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.  Matthew 23:24 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I know that nothing escapes your sight for you see and know what is in my heart. May my heart experience these truths about justice, mercy and faithfulness, and exercise them especially toward those who are physically and mentally challenging. Father remember these people who are disadvantaged, underprivileged and marginalised.  Grant them strength to face many challenges every day. As you bring them to cross my path this week, may my eyes be open to recognise them and share God's love with them in practical ways.  Thank you for listening to my prayer. In Jesus' name I pray.

Kingdom Of Heaven Is Real

But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.  Matthew 23:13 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father many many still have not known you, let alone entering into the Kingdom of Heaven. I pray for an increase of your love in me as I seek to reach out to those who will be perishing - my family members, relatives, friends and colleagues. Let your divine love soften their hardened heart and may they respond to your great mercy. Help me to be steadfast and focused in carrying out the Great Commission and to be the channel to usher them into your eternal Kingdom. Holy Spirit may I be sensitive to your leading as you empower me to be an effective witness for Christ.  In Jesus' blessed name I pray and give thanks.

Heart Of A True Servant Is The Humility Of Christ

The greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 23:11-12 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this morning i am hearing you saying that big names, connections, networking and the likes are but mere fleshy means to worldly success and greatness, if the humility of Christ is absent in my heart. I desire to be your true servant Father. Let me learn the deeper meaning as well as experience this important revelation of your living Word. May i have the opportunity to put into practice this truth today. In Jesus' awesome name i pray.

Practice Before Preaching

So practice and observe whatever they tell you-but not what they do. For they preach, but do not practice. Matthew 23:3 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father i shall take heed of this stern reminder in that my life and lifestyle as well as my words and deeds have to be consistent for they do carry a message - whom i have believed and entrusted my life. May i consciously and conscientiously practice everything according to your living Word, before utter a word of advice or instruction to others. Father i desire my heart to be pure and faith simple in fellowshipping with you and man. Truly Love God And Sincerely Love Man

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  Matthew 22:37-39 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father you are a God of love for everything you are and do is characterised by love, divine, unconditional love towards your creation.  My response to you is to truly love you and sincerely love man daily. Help me, Father, to make the feeling and thought of love in me to become visible, tangible and experiential in my daily interaction with people. May I be fully enveloped by your love and reciprocate with the love that comes from a pure heart and a simple faith. I commit today to your loving hand.  In Jesus' name I pray.

Knowing God's Word And His Power

But Jesus answered them, "You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God." Matthew 22:29 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father i desire to keep your wonderful Word in my heart at all times so that i can say like the psalmist "thy word have i kept in my heart so that i shall not sin against thee". However i wish to also experience your power which can save, heal amd deliver. I do not want to be ignorance of your Word and your power. May i receive a deeper understanding and experience these two today. In Jesus' blessed name i give thanks!

May My Words Be Seasoned With Salt

They said, "Caesar's." Then he said to them, "Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." Matthew 22:21 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father i want to be the light of the world and salt of the earth through my words and deeds especially when interacting with people from all walks of life today. I ask for divine wisdom and discernment when conversing with difficult or challenging people. May i be as wise as the serpent and ignorant as a dove. May my words be seasoned with salt that will speak love and peace into the hurting heart and troubled soul. Thank you Father for a blessed Friday with you! In Jesus' wonderful name i pray.

I Am Now Clothed With The Righteousness Of Christ

But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, 'Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless.Then the king said to the attendants, 'Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 'For many are called, but few are chosen."  Matthew 21:11-14 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father i am fully and completely clothed with the righteousness of Christ. To this i am forever grateful to you. I know i am not sinless, but blameless before your throne of grace. i know that this robe of righteousness in me is bought with the previous blood of Christ at the cross. I shall meditate on your Word to let this divine truth sink deep into my spirit. Father may i walk with you having the joy and peace in my heart in yet another blessed day. Lead me Holy Spirit to be a healing hand to someone whose guilt and shame need to be washed by the blood of Christ and be clothed with His righteousness. No Longer In Darkness But Light Now And Unending

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this is a blessed declaration of who i am and what i should do. Oh what a divine calling and a great privilege to me! Father let me experience a deeper meaning of this spiritual truth this week, especially about me living in God's light right now and throughout eternity. Father let my life be fruitful and the fruits shall last into eternity. In Jesus' name i give thanks to you Father

Truly God Is No Respecter of Persons

For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward change your minds and believe him. Matthew 21:32 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father every human soul is wonderfully and fearfully created in your divine image and likeness. I know this is my true worth. Help me to see every one in my circle of influence the way you see them. This Scripture tells me that you are no respecter of persons for every one can be made whole and be righteous by taking a step of faith to believe Jesus has forgiven his or her sins at the cross. Father may my family members, friends, and colleagues receive your mercy and grace enabling them to seek for lasting joy and peace by trusting Christ completely.  In Jesus' name I ask and give thanks.

My Prayer Request To You Father

And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. Matthew 21:22 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this blessed morning i come before your heavenly throne of grace and bring my prayer request to you, which is to abide quietly in your presence all day long worshipping you and be in your perfect will. May i learn to hear the still small voice of your Spirit and to step out in faith and obedience as you lead. Thank you Father for listening and answering to my prayer. In Jesus' name i pray.

Receiving Healing In Jesus' Presence

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. Matthew 21:14 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus i know and believe that in your presence there is divine healing and health for by your stripes i am healed. Lord, the blind and the lame came to you and you healed them all! Father, heal us completely and make us whole, everyone in this support group, as well as every unwell person whom we have brought before your throne of grace. I ask and pray in Jesus' name, giving you praise, thanks and glory.

My Body Is God's Holy Vessel Of Prayer

And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you make it a den of robbers." Matthew 21:12-13 ESV. 

Dear Heavenly Father may my body be sanctified continually, and set apart as a holy vessel of prayer, a constant communion with you. I pray that no unclean thing shall obstruct our fellowship or hinder me to offer prayers before your throne of grace and to find mercy. Father may i love you with all my heart, soul, mind and strength daily. In Jesus' name i pray.

Every Voice Must Be Heard

And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” The crowd rebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” And stopping, Jesus called them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?” They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him.  Matthew 20:30 - 34  ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father you do hear every human voice that cries to you especially those voices that come from the poor and sick. They long for a divine touch from Heaven for no human can bring to them salvation, healing and deliverance, except Jesus Christ. Father this Scripture teaches me that everyone should have his or her voice heard, despite living with disabilities, in poverty or sicknesses. O Father your compassion is beyond my understanding, so is your divine love! I ask for your healing touch upon brothers and sisters who are currently undergoing cancer treatment.  Hear our voice and the cry in our heart Father. Let your healing flow for by His stripes we are healed! Thank you Father for listening and acting upon our prayer that is brought before your throne of grace so that we can receive mercy. In Jesus' blessed name I ask and give thanks!

Is My Life Like Jesus?

It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”  Matthew 20:26-28 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus let my mind think of you every day for you are my model for life, work, ministry and relationships. Teach me to know and experience what it means to have a servant heart, one that is giving and forgiving, loving others without expecting to be rewarded, kind and gracious towards others who are marginalised, poor and sick. These people are often overlooked and forgotten. Lord, whatever I do I want to do it for the glory of God. Let your love, joy and peace flow through my words and actions in my interactions with various people today. Thank you Father for yet another blessed day with you.  In Jesus' precious name I pray.

What Is My Life's Real Goal?

“See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.”  Matthew 20:18-19 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this morning the burning question I am asking myself is to know what is the real, ultimate goal for me in this brief, short and temporal life on earth. Every step that Jesus took while on earth is not about himself, but about your divine plan for every human soul. I cast my care and anxiety onto your guiding hand Father.  May the desire and hope that I have now be in alignment with your plan for me. I want to do your will, glorify you and grow to be more like Christ each day.  May your love energise me to walk in confidence, compassion and conviction so that I shall not lose sight of my calling.  Thank you Father for lifting me up with this Scripture in that Jesus' real goal in life is to be the true and lasting sacrifice for man's sin enabling anyone who believes in Him to enter eternity and to be with God.  Thank you Jesus for this amazing gift of divine love, and in your wonderful name I give thanks and pray.

Eternal Life Begins Now

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first. Matthew 19:29-30 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father the joy and peace in Heaven is now being experienced in my heart because eternal life has already begun since the day I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and be Lord and Saviour of my life. I commit my life afresh to you this morning.  May I be faithful in all things entrusted to me as I desire to be a good steward.  May my words be seasoned with grace and truth in all my conversations today. May there be someone touched by you during a conversation and be brought closer to you. In Jesus' name I pray.

All Things Are Possible With God

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Dear Heavenly Father this beautiful morning reading your blessed Word to nourish my spirit truly excites me once again as I am affirmed that no one is to be left out of your kingdom of light. With you all things are possible for everyone to be saved and have eternal life, regardless of his or her abilities, flaws, social economic background, habits, past baggages, rich or poor, and many more. O Father your mercy is great and love is always steadfast. May the desire to win souls grow in me and may I be obedient when opportunities are given for me to speak, act and pray for the many unsaved souls who cross my path everyday.  Let this fresh week be a blessed one to see hearts turn to you Father.  In Jesus' name I pray.

The Poor Will Always Have A Special Place In God's Heart

Jesus said to him, "If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Matthew 19:21-22 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus the poor will always be in your heart for they are marginalized and conveniently overlooked by the mainstream. Open my eyes Lord to see the poverty that is around me, and to stop for anyone who needs a touch from you. May I count my blessings and be grateful for your provision, protection, peace and abiding presence. In Jesus' merciful name I pray and give thanks.

Children Belong To The Kingdom Of Heaven

Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people,  but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” And he laid his hands on them and went away.  Matthew 19:13-15 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I pray for myself to love every child the way you do for truly they belong to you and your eternal kingdom. May I reach out to children especially those who lack parental care and support and their safety is also compromised. Help me to feel for them and let your compassion envelop me when the door is open for me to minister to them.  Thank you Father.  In Jesus' blessed name I ask and pray.

Soulmate Till He Returns!

 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?  So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”  Matthew 19:4-6 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father my heart is grateful to you for the godly soulmate you have given me for the past 26 years. The joy of companionship and fellowship of agape love experienced between us is because of Jesus' sacrificial love given to us which has formed the solid foundation of this wonderful holy matrimony!  May our marital life be constantly filled with your love, meaning and purpose for the glory of God. Also may we help other couples to love you and walk in your perfect will, so that we all can speak like Joshua "For me and my household we will serve the Lord". Grant us wisdom for those we need our counsel on alternative marriage lifestyle as you lead and guide us.  In Jesus' lovely name I pray and give thanks.






 

Only By His Strength

So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart. Matthew 18:35 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father, it is only by your strength that I can break the chain of unforgiveness. My weaknesses and flaws would just surface each time I feel hurt, offended and upset by others whose action seem to be unrighteousness toward me. Father I pray for greater self-awareness of this weakness and to quick to hear your still small voice in guiding, correcting and instructing me when facing challenging situations. Let me experience the joy of having this attitude to love and forgive by your divine strength.  In Jesus' wonderful name I give thanks.

I Can Forgive Because Of The Blood Of Jesus

Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”  Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.  Matthew 18:21-22 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus I thank you for letting me experience the true meaning of forgiveness which is made possible by your blood on the cross.  That experience totally lifted up the heavy burden in my heart. O Lord that was a very deep and personal touch of your great love for me. I am absolutely set free by you and I know I can and should forgive everyone and anyone who needs my forgiveness.  I have freely received and I can freely give of your love, forgiveness, blessings, patience, goodness, kindness and many, many more! Teach me Lord to increase in me a desire to be generous toward the needy, poor and the sick for they need that same touch of your divine love and forgiveness. In Jesus' wonderful name I ask and give thanks!

Love Builds Up!

"If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. Matthew 18:15 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father may I be motivated by your love to help build up someone who needs to be aware of things that are not right in your sight. I ask for your guidance to help me do a self-reflection first and let you open door to do this important step of reconciliation. I also ask for your divine wisdom for the words to speak too. Father may my heart be pure and faith simple as i have conversations daily with people of all walks of life. May I also have a good self awareness when my words do cause someone to stumble. I thank you Father for this instruction which shall bring healing to the wound of many hurting hearts, thereby restoring the joy of the Lord in their souls. May I always be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in this wonderful process of releasing God's love and forgiveness. In Jesus' name I pray.

Knowing God's Deepest Desire

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18:12-14 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I know the lost will always be lost now and throughout eternity unless they have their sins cleansed by the blood of Jesus and be born again receiving the newness of life from you. Create in me this sense of urgency and increase the desire to reach out to the lost with your love and power. I commit this new week to you and trust your guiding hand upon the things you have prepared for me including meeting different people according to your will. May they be touched by your love.

Every Child Is Very Precious To Heavenly Father

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18:10 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus you reveal to me this great and wonderful truth here in that the existence, growth and well-being of every child on earth is indeed very special and significant to our Abba Father. Angels are watching over them and bring them before God Almighty constantly. Lord I do experience the joy that children bring to me whenever I talk and play with them. So simple and adorable are they that I do sense the image of God in them as they talk, laugh and play. May I embrace them with the immense love you have for them and also willing to learn from them about your awesome and unconditional love evidenced in all corners of the earth. In Jesus' name I praise and give thanks.

Weakening Power Of Sinful Nature By His Grace

And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire. Matthew 18:8-9 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I know I am living in two worlds simultaneously - natural and spiritual worlds. Fleshy and evil influences seek to lure me away from living with a pure conscience and a blameless life daily. I pray that every part of my body as well as my thought life be righteous and constantly be in alignment with your living Word by your grace and mercy. Help me to keep very short account with you so that no sin shall be made a barrier to commune with you and may your divine peace be my guide every moment of the day. In Jesus' name I give thanks and praise.

Jesus' Heart Goes To The Needy

And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them... "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me. Matthew 18:2,5 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus I thank you for another morning and day with you. Good morning Lord! I read your Word here and it warms my heart to know that you care for the needy even as you would want me to especially embrace little children with the wonderful love I have received from you. Lord help me learn to feel the way you would feel whenever I meet a needy person. May I not hurry through the conversation but be sensitive and discerning to the words and facial expressions so that a particular need can be understood and help can be given. O Lord let me experience the mighty grace of God Almighty to boldly proclaim your divine love to the hurting hearts wherever you lead. In Jesus' awesome name I pray.

Being Childlike Becoming Christlike

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:4 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father there is a kingdom, a heavenly one, that is completely filled with divine love and joy unspeakable. As your child i know that I belong to this heavenly home. I thank you that having childlike faith in you helps me grow in humility to be more and more like Christ. Today I shall meditate on this beautiful truth of the meaning of humility that the Kingdom of Heaven calls for. In Jesus' wonderful name I pray.

Believing A Miraculous Experience With God

However, not to give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.” Matthew 17:27 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I am amazed by this miracle and am seeing Jesus being sensitive to fellow human needs and He takes practical steps to meet them to glorify you.  Father I pray for an experience with you that I know it is a miracle divinely arranged to meet my needs and bring glory to you. I also pray for those who are sick in the cancer support group to receive a miraculous touch from your healing hand soon, for by His stripes we are healed. Father, let this Wednesday be a blessed day that your manifold blessings shall flow to change the many lives who are groping in the darkness of deception, depression and demonic influences.   Jesus, in you miighty name I ask and pray.

Glorify God Till The Last Breath

As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him, and he will be raised on the third day." And they were greatly distressed. Matthew 17:22-23 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father may my life on earth be meaningful, purposeful, blessed and selfless for the years i have on earth are given by you. Like Jesus who walks according to your perfect will on earth even at His last breath, may I glorify you with every breath I have from you. Lord Jesus you are the author and perfecter of my faith. Teach me Lord to learn to increase my trust in you. May today be another blessed day to see your unconditional love flow into a soul that yearns for an encounter with you. In your awesome name I pray.

Mustard Seed Faith To Believe Jesus

He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus i commit this new week to you as I seek to walk by faith in you - everything I know of you and what you are since the day I open my heart to you. Teach me not to walk by sight. I know I have to see beyond the five senses when carrying out daily activities. Lord let my faith see the things you want me to see and obey your instructions to see breakthrough in my life and in the lives of people that I am interacting at work, in ministry, during family time, with friends and strangers alike. Heavenly Father truly great is thy faithfulness! In Jesus' name I give thanks.

A Life Truly Pleasing To God

He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” Matthew 17:5 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father truly a life pleasing to you is a moment by moment obedience with the desire and love to please you from my heart. This scripture is one of the two times you have declared from Heaven the strong affirmation of the life of Christ that is so pleasing to you.  Jesus heard twice this audible declaration of your good pleasure for a life well pleasing to you during His three and  half years of ministry.  It brings so much joy to you.  Father, may I walk in a manner that brings similar joy and gladness to you - a life truly pleasing to you! Every day is a new and fresh day which is a precious gift from Heaven. I desire to be an obedient child who knows your heartbeat, and to complete the work you have already prepared for me. In Jesus' wonderful name I give thanks.

For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Matthew 16:27 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus you have called me to be responsible to the work being alloted to me for which l am personally accountable to you. I desire to follow your foot step in that the fruits of my labor together with you shall always be fruits of God's love and shall last throughout eternity. Experiencing A Glorious Touch From Heaven

Dear Heavenly Father I am believing that your awesome and glorious presence can be deeply experienced, like this heavenly encounter here, to strengthen, affirm and empower me to fulfill your perfect will. I am deeply encouraged by this divine manifestation. Father may I walk confidently as your child knowing you are an awesome and powerful God that I am serving. In Jesus' mighty name I pray.

Burning Question Because There Is A Burning Hell

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? Matthew 16; 25-26 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father as I meditate on your word this morning, particularly this warning scripture, help me to reflect on my life history with you and the memories I have in walking with you. I still have this wonderful feeling of being forgiven, saved and restored by the life, death and resurrection of my Lord Jesus. I also recalled this beautiful filling of the Spirit where the joy and peace being experienced as heavenly tongue just flowed like rivers of living water. I am grateful to the countless answered prayers and undeserved manifold blessings experienced. Father may I dwell on all these sweet memories of you and be thankful for who I am because of Jesus' saving grace. May there be an opportunity to share this grace to someone today. In His name I give thanks and praise.

Narrow Way A Blessed Way

Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Matthew 16:24 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I take this solemn command as a reminder that a Christian life is clearly about being Christlike through constant denial of self, daily taking up my cross and faithfully following you. Walking a narrow way is truly a blessed one! Holy Spirit empower me to crucify the fleshy desires in me, choosing to abide in you and obediently act upon what you would lead me to do. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength to do the work you have ordained for me today. In Jesus' gracious name I ask and pray.

Heaven Is Filled With Spiritual Blessings Meant For Earth

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Matthew 16:19 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this is a wonderful and powerful spiritual truth in that the reality of your promise in this scripture is that all blessings in Heaven are perfect in providence and in timing and are granted to me and everyone in the Body of Christ to fulfill your Will and bring glory, honor and praise to you, Abba Father, my true and living God. May the meditation of this spiritual truth become a reality in my walk with you as I am being enriched by many heavenly blessings and shall become a wonderful blessing to others for the glory of God. Teach me Lord to learn to have my thoughts, understanding, belief, hope and faith in alignment with what are already prepared and promised in Heaven, so that when I bind and loose on earth, all these which have already been bound and loosed in Heaven shall be effectual on earth releasing the blessings to many on earth. May i learn to apply this truth in the ministry to the poor and sick as the Holy Spirit shall lead. Thank you Father for this awesome spiritual truth. In Jesus' mighty name I pray.

I Am An Overcomer Over Hell

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father in this fresh new week, I am able to declare that I am an overcomer over sin, sickness, Satan and even hell because Jesus brought victories over these for me. Lord Jesus, you are my Messiah and you are the Son of the living God! I am being affirmed today that hell no longer has any grip over my soul. I am victorious as a member of the Body of Christ. God Reveals His Thoughts All The Times

And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 16:17 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I am letting this wonderful spiritual truth sink into my spirit in that you are always revealing yourself to me all the times through the living Word of God coming like a flash in my mind eye at any moment of the day. I desire to know your thoughts and ways, especially when I am taking steps of faith in managing new development relating to work, finance, ministry, or relationship. Let my spiritual ear be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray.

Jesus Christ Brings Heaven To Earth

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Matthew 16:15-16 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this divine revelation shows the reality of Heaven, your eternal dwelling place and the divine gift given to me through Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. Lord Jesus, you have brought Heaven to earth so that i could taste this eternal gift. Help me Father to have a deeper awareness and understanding of the meaning of being called your son so that I have a deeper experience of worship and adoration unto you. In your precious need I pray

Thy Word Is The Lamp Upon My Feet

How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees." Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Matthew 16; 11-12 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father my prayer to you this morning is that i shall let thy Word be the lamp upon my feet and the Light upon my path to overcome the onslaught of false and erroneous teachings about who you are. I pray also that I may increase my spiritual understanding of your purpose, plan and power for me. May I be more like Christ in my thought, speech and action so that others shall be touched by your grace and mercy. In Jesus' mighty name I give thanks to you Father.

Unless Your Mercy Flows

An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah." So he left them and departed. Matthew 16:4 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father unless your mercy and grace flow into this hardened, blinded and self-centered people of this generation, i know that every soul without Christ's cleansing blood is destined to be separated from you eternally and forever. Merciful God do a work in my heart that I can be an instrument of your divine forgiveness and unconditional love to whomever that crosses my path today. In Jesus' name I pray.

Compassion Moves God's Heart

Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion on the crowd because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way." Matthew 15:32 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this is so assuring to know that compassion moves your heart in practical way to ensure human needs are met. Father I know you are a personal and caring God who watches over me all the times. May this attribute be my motivation to feed the hungry and quench the thirsty. Help me to be observant and sensitive to help someone in a practical way today so that your healing touch will make a difference in his or her life. In Jesus' wonderful name I pray.

Every Healing Brings Glory To God

And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them, so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel. Matthew 15:30-31 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father may I glorify you with every spiritual gift bestowed upon me. May I use it to bring healing and restoration to the heavy laden beset by sins, sicknesses and satanic influence. O Father may I have the boldness to witness and desire to reach out to family, friends and colleagues and let you have your way. I commit today to your guiding hand. In Jesus' name I pray.

Let Me Be Spiritually Discerning

And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon." Matthew 15:22 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father open my spiritual eye to be aware and understand the spiritual dimension of demonic activities that seek to influence, harass, oppress, and possess vulnerable people. Grant me the spiritual discernment and wisdom when encountering situation like this canaanite woman. Father let your great mercy flow and stretch forth your mighty hand to deliver them I pray. May this week be a blessed and victorious week. In Jesus' name I pray.

May My Thought Life Glorify You

Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone. Matthew 15:17-20 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father may my thought life glorify you so that every word brings life to the hearer.  May there be comfort, strength and joy that come out from my mouth. Help me to be aware of the subtlety of unhealthy thoughts dwelling in my mind that would defile my heart. Let me be quick to remove any thoughts of bitterness, unforgiveness, jealousy, envy and anger from my heart. Father, I ask for your divine peace to be my strength and guide in moment of weaknesses so that I would not have any spiritual lapses resulting in defilement in my spirit.  In Jesus' gracious name I pray.

Father Let My Words Heal Not Hurt

And he called the people to him and said to them, "Hear and understand: it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person." Matthew 15:10-11 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I pray for your divine wisdom when I speak so that the words spoken shall bring healing and not hurt to the hearers. May my words be seasoned with grace bringing comfort and strength to lift up the heavy hearts and weary souls. Holy Spirit fill me, empower me and guide me for the work today. Let no defilement come near me, but rather righteousness, peace and joy in the Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray.

Just One Touch!

And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well. Matthew 14:35-36 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus just one touch, one encounter and one experience results in healing that comes from the divine love of God, a heavenly gift to me which is unconditional, undeserving and unparallel. Father I know I am deeply blessed by you, for you are Creator God, my everything on earth now and throughout eternity. May I meditate on this wonderful spiritual truth and may my heart bow in humility as I give you sincere praise and adoration for who you truly are to me. In Jesus' name I give thanks.

Am I Still Hearing God's Voice?

But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, "It is a ghost!" and they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid." Matthew 14:26-27 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father create in me a strong desire to yearn for unbroken and uninterrupted communion with you through which my spirit can sense your presence and quietly, yet assuredly, hear your still small voice. I know that my heart can always be in tune with your thoughts and your ways. Holy Spirit lead me to a greener pasture anytime of the day, where my spirit, soul and body can find rest and enjoy the divine peace amid the busyness and hurriedness of living in this pressure-cooker city state. I worship you Father and let you provide and protect me at all times. In Jesus' holy name I pray.

Be Still In His Presence

And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone. Matthew 14; 23 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father help me to learn to be still in your presence and commune with you. Teach me to bare my soul before your throne of grace and find mercy in time of need. Father let my mind learn to be calm and hear your voice clearly. May I truly enjoy this intimate moment as I reflect on the beautiful memories of and with you. Let my spirit be lifted up and receive strength for the day I pray. May I also know more of your way and do your will everyday. In Jesus' marvelous name pray.

God's Provision Fills Up To The Brim And Overflowing

And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over.
And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children. Matthew 14:20-21 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father you watch over me every moment, in my going out and coming in to grant me peace and provision so that both my spiritual and physical needs are met daily. Walking with you obediently, even in uncharted path, pleases you for it deepens my trust in you and love for you. Holy Spirit guide me to exercise faith like a mustard seed which can become a huge tree blessing many by making Jesus known to them. In Jesus' holy name I pray.

Blessings From Heavenly Father

Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. Matthew 14:19 ESV.

Heavenly Father every good and perfect gift from you is divinely given to richly bless me enabling me to do your will. May my heart constantly and consciously look up to you Father for the manifold blessings from above with steadfast faith trusting your bountiful provision on the work you have called me to do. Father I thank you for loving me and granting me the privilege to co-work with you daily. May your divine love energize and strengthen me to pursue the things of God.

I Trust Even With The Little I know

And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:58 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus I know that you do miracles to save, heal and deliver to point all man to experience the eternal love of the Father. Lord grant me wisdom and discernment to know and understand divine relevation and spiritual truth of who you are so that whatever little I know I can obey and trust you completely. I desire to be your vessel of love and power to bring healing to the poor and sick. Let this fresh day of the week be filled with your grace and truth. May I grow to know you more and work alongside you with faith and obedience. In your wonderful name I pray.

My Soul's Greatest Joy

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it. Matthew 13:45-46 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father my soul's greatest joy is having Jesus with and in me all the days of my life on earth and throughout eternity. May my all consuming passion now and always will be is to make Him known. May I also have a deep desire to share this priceless pearl to those who may not yet have an opportunity to hear about you, let alone receive you. Father I desire my remaining time on earth to bear fruits that truly last. O Lord let your grace and mercy be upon me I pray. In Jesus' name I ask and pray.

Jesus Gave Me Everything

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:44 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus I have received everything you have laid upon the cruel cross for me - nothing has been taken from me since. Heaven is now in my heart with all its manifold blessings and of utmost importance is your glorious abiding presence with and in me. Lord, as the day draws nearer, may I remain faithful in doing your will and always desiring to love you more and more. Let my heart be filled, if not overflowed, with adoration and worship for you are indeed God, all loving, mighty and wise. Let this day be a blessed day with your peace and love envelop me and the people with me. May I give generously to the needy what I have received from you and guide them to find the heavenly treasure that brings true joy to their soul. In your holy name Jesus I praise and give thanks.

Jesus I Belong To You

He answered, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. Matthew 13:37-39 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus i know i belong to you for you have saved me, forgiven me and given me a new life, a divine life by your grace and mercy. Today's scripture reading affirms me of whom I belong and the eventual destiny of my soul. I am the son of the kingdom of God. Lord I would like to know this truth deeper and experience it fuller as I walk with you. Thank you Jesus!

I'm Living In Two Worlds

He put another parable before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches."
Matthew 13:31-32 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I understand that i am living in two worlds, both the- physical and spiritual worlds at the same time. The divine faith you have deposited into my heart has ushered me into the heavenly kingdom of love, joy and peace. My faith, like a mustard seed, needs to grow and be a blessing to many. I thank you for this beautiful Thursday Father. I pray for the different people whom I shall be in contact with, be blessed in a unique way by the power of the Holy Spirit. I give you thanks and praise in Jesus' mighty name.

I Have To Beware Of The Weeds

Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.'" Matthew 13:30 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father this parable reminds me of two important spiritual truths. There will be a final day of judgment when I will be eventually entering into your mighty presence and see you face to face. Also, while awaiting for this day to come I will have to beware of false teachers surrounding and bombarding me daily with all kinds of deception. Father I need your protection and providence while walking with you in this endtime period. In Jesus' name I pray.

God's Word Is The Source Of Fruitfulness

As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty." Matthew 13:23 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father I find strength in feeding your living Word in my spirit. Through hearing your voice, I experience the love of God, the grace of Jesus and the communion of the Holy Spirit. May I continue to let your Word be the lamp upon my feet and the light unto my path. In Jesus' name i pray.

May I Bear Fruits To The Fullest

Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear." Matthew 13:8-9 ESV

Dear Heavenly Father I have because you give, and I am because of Jesus. You have done in the past for me and are still doing a work in me. May the work you are empowering me to do and to complete falls on good soil so that it shall produce fruits to the fullest and lasts for eternity. I commit my life to you afresh in yet another meaningful week. In Jesus' name I pray.

God Has A Definite Will For Me

And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother." Matthew 12:49-50 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father am I living according to your perfect will? Help me to take a moment today and do a reality check in my spirit to know if I am walking with you wholeheartedly and truly am doing your will in every area of my life. Lord Jesus, I am called as your brother. Thank you Lord. May I love you daily and walk in your love and build myself up in the holy most faith given by you. I give you thanks and praise in Jesus' holy name.

Only You, Lord, Could Do It For Me

For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Matthew 2:40 ESV.

Dear Lord Jesus this greatest event came and went without fanfare, but it has to happen to save me. No one could or would do it. Only You Lord. May I take time today to meditate and reflect on this deliverance from Heaven. May I also experience a deeper spiritual understanding of this truth and have a closer walk and intimacy with you as well. Lord let me take up my cross daily with joy, peace and righteousness. In your lovely name I pray.

You Have Him Or You Don't Have

You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. Matthew 12:34-35 ESV

Dear Heavenly Father I pray that every human soul has at least one opportunity to make the decision whether to have Christ in his or her heart, as it is evident to know those who know by their frutis. This affirming scriptural verses affirm me that the divine nature in me should and must bring forth good fruits to bless humanity because you have deposited your very presence in my heart, the good treasure mentioned here.  Thank you Father.  In Jesus' name I give thanks.

I Belong To Your Kingdom

But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matthew 12:28 ESV

Dear Heavenly Father I have been delivered from Satan into your Kingdom of light. My spirit has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and am now spiritually alive to your Spirit.  I know my soul that expresses feelings, thinking and doing are empowered to worship you and do good works as Jesus did while in earth. I know I have the responsibility to take care of my body to keep healthy and be an instrument of healing, deliverance and reconciliation for the extension of the Kingdom of God. In Jesus' name I pray.
