Dear Heavenly Father I am aware that I am facing the influence of spiritual forces which are at work to try to steal, kill and destroy everything I hold dear. Grant me the gift of discernment of the spirits to identify and overcome anything that tries to obstruct or oppress the work you call me to do daily. May I have the opportunity to set someone free from the influence of the evil one by your power and grace this week. In Jesus, mighty name I b pray.

Faith Overcomes Fear Because Christ Is In Me

And they went and woke him, saying, "Save us, Lord; we are perishing." And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. Matthew 8:25-26 (ESV)

Dear Heavenly Father, because Christ's presence is with and in me by the Holy Spirit, my faith can overcome all kinds of fear. I treasure your abiding presence Lord, and I know wherever I am I can trust you wholeheartedly. Teach me Lord to do everything with a heart that truly believing you for your provision, protection and power. Thank you for enabling me to live a Spirit-filled life. In Jesus' name I pray.

True Meaning Of Prosperity And Blessedness

And a scribe came up and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go." And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head." Matthew 8:19-20 (ESV)

Dear Lord Jesus you show me here that the Christian life is a life dependent on God for all my needs to live a truly blessed and prospered life. May my soul, the inner man, keep experiencing your divine peace and good health. Your life on earth is one that points me to the meaning of true prosperity, with or without material comfort which many crave for as they are swept by the current spirit of consumerism and instant but faked prosperity. May I model after your lifestyle, simple yet profound, to deter me from being succumbed to the subtle "feel good" messages that have lured countless souls bearing your name to walk the broad and easy route towards worldly gains, status and comfort. Let your wisdom, grace and mercy be richly upon me. In your lovely name I pray.

Healing Touch Brings Restoration Of True Joy

And when Jesus entered Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and began to serve him. That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. Matthew 8:14-16 (ESV)

Dear Lord Jesus everywhere you go, you touch lives and restore the sick and oppressed to health and wholeness bringing true joy deep into the souls and empower them to trust God wholeheartedly. I am feeling assured once again. I thank you for good health in spirit, soul and body. May this blessed Friday be a day of reaching out to someone who needs to be restored and to receive the joy from you. In Jesus' gracious name I ask and pray.

Faith In God Is Believe And Obedience

And to the centurion Jesus said, "Go; let it be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed at that very moment. Matthew 8:13 (ESV)

Heavenly Father though I do not see or touch you physically, I feel you in my spirit as experienced by divine peace, inner joy and assurance of unconditional love. This spiritual deposits in me help me to grow from faith to faith.  I know that faith grows stronger and deeper through constantly believing you and obeying your Word. Like you Lord, I also marvel at the Centurion whose solid belief in who you really are and what you are capable of doing,  even in healing the dying servant. I want to let this important spiritual truth of faith as clearly expressed by the Centurion sink deep into my spirit.  Thank you Father. In Jesus' name I pray.

A Compassionate And Willing Heart

And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean." And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to them." Matthew 8:2-4 (ESV)

Dear Lord Jesus, touch my heart and soften it so that it becomes a heart filled with your compassion to touch someine today. May my speech and action express this tender and gracious gift and release your healing to this person in need. I thank you for guiding and protecting me in everything i do today. In your wonderful name I pray.

God's Word Brings Wisdom That Builds Solid Foundation

Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25 (ESV)

Heavenly Father I can build a strong and solid foundation for my life because of your wisdom granted to me. I know it comes from daily spiritual disciplines like Bible reading, sincere morning prayer, trust in your grace and mercy, obedience to serve the poor and sick, prudent as your steward over time, treasure and talents, and enriching lives through your unconditional love. Even when faced with difficult and challenging circumstances, i can trust you to give me a word of wisdom usually in a still, small voice whispering into my spirit so that I can ride over rough patches. Father let my love for you remain strong and continue to grow that Christ may form in me. Thank you for this beautiful day! In Jesus' name I pray and give thanks.

Doing Your Will Conscientiously And Truthfully

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’  Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV)

Heavenly Father this solemn truth is about doing your will conscientiously, truthfully and faithfully. You despise those who give you lip service or doing good work with evil intent, even under the influence of the evil one. I am reminded that it is not what I say or do, rather it is about my motive, attitude and conscience for every good work done to glorify Christ. I desire to stay close with you so that my life shall reflect the compassion of Christ, love of God and the communion with the Holy Spirit. Father, may i walk righteously and serve faithfully letting your Word be the lamp on my feet and light unto my path. I thank you for this new day, and commit my life afresh to your loving, tender care. In Jesus' name I pray.

My Tree Is A Good Tree

So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. Matthew 7:17-20 (ESV)

Heavenly Father, my tree is a good tree for you have planted the seed of divine love into my heart, since the day I repented of my sins and received the gift of forgiveness. Lord Jesus, you are the vine, my source of nutrients and strength to enable me to grow healthily and to bear good fruits. Help me to discern every tree that seeks to deceive and destroy the gullible and ignorant. Grant me divine wisdom, as I obey the great commission to seek and rescue the lost around me. Just Take A Moment Of Trust

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Matthew 7:13-14 (ESV)

Dear Lord Jesus, walking with you everyday is about trusting you moment by moment. Sometimes it just takes one precious moment of trust in you to overcome a tempting or trying situation to stay on course in this narrow path with you. You have shown me the way by your example, and moreover, you empower me to avoid walking on the broad way, which is so easy, comfortable, and tempting. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy towards me every day. I give you praise and thanks. Let today be a blessed and victorious day bringing gladness and joy to your heart. Goodness In The Heart Of Heavenly Father

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Matthew 7:11 (ESV)

Heavenly Father this morning, beautiful and serene, is another blessed day from you. Though life goes on, I can sense your goodness upon all your creations particularly to us, your wonderful handiwork. Oh Father to taste your goodness which flows generously from your tender heart brings true joy and peace to me daily, despite the hustle and bustle of life everywhere I turn. I ask afresh that you grant me divine wisdom to do your work daily and be a blessing to my colleagues, friends and family as I make conversation with them. Let your goodness richly flow from my heart and touch them in area of their need. I thank you Father for your goodness and generosity to grant me this request. In Jesus' name I pray.

Reflection, Evaluation, Awareness, Change, Healing (REACH)

Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. Matthew 7:4-5 (ESV)

Heavenly Father, thank you for enlightening me in this wonderful truth of taking the right steps before seeking to correct someone. You reinforce in me the need to do self reflection first, so that I will have an awareness of my inner motivation, attitude, thoughts, words and actions before making any comments on others.  May I be your agent of change and healing, instead of bringing discouragement and sadness to others. In Jesus' name I pray.

Seek God Stumble Not

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:33-34 (ESV)

Heavenly Father increase a deeper desire to seek you for your kingdom consists of peace, righteousness and  joy of the Holy Spirit. In this way I shall be able to manage the worries and anxieties that this troubled world brings to me, and not be overcome by these. Enable me to seek you more and take steps of faith when i am faced with various challenges today. Let my relationship with you deepen as i trust you in your divine guidance and provisions for every day's needs. In Jesus' wonderful name I give thanks to you Father.

Think Heavenly Walk Faithfully

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?  Matthew 6:30 (ESV) 

Dear Heavenly Father while living in trying time like this with huge part of the earth filled with calamities, diseases, bloodshed, hunger and starvation, and many uncertainties, help me to think heavenly and walk faithfully by the grace of Jesus, love of God and communion with the Holy Spirit. Teach me to see everything including my family, work, church, friends, hobbies and ministry from your perspective, and never lose sight of my calling and the portion alloted for me so that my roots shall be grounded on kingdom values and principles, instead of earthly delights and materialistic pursuits. Father may I be sensitive to your Spirit's leading and ready to speak words of encouragement to someone who is overly concerned about physical well-being today. In Jesus' name of pray.

All Of Christ Or Nothing

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Matthew 6:24 (ESV)

Dear Father everything in the world is temporal, no matter how promising and rewarding it can be, if it only brings pleasure to the flesh and lead me to lose sight of the permanent and eternal. Thank You Father that I am reminded that these worldly goods and services nourish the body and not my soul. I desire that everything I have received from you should make me more like Christ and lead me to be your instrument of love, peace and joy to the needy, poor and sick in body, soul and spirit. Father lead me daily to touch these lives and usher them into the Kingdom of light so that they shall truly serve only Christ and despise all else. In Jesus' name I pray.

Light Shines Through A Pure Heart

The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! Matthew 6:22-23 (ESV)

Heavenly Father i know that what i see can affect my mind and heart for this world system is deeply corrupted and greatly polluted by evil, largely unseen.. Help me to have a stronger awareness of the flesh at work in me. May the light in me constantly reflect your glory and grace. Let my body, your temple, shine brightly and dispel the darkness of greed, lies and mistrust in the heart of the wicked. May it be that what I see, hear, smell, taste and touch glorify your holy name Father. In Jesus' name I pray.

Heart Like Jesus, Treasures In Heaven

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21 (ESV)

Heavenly Father I pray for my heart to have all affections and desires constantly align with Christ. Let everything that is very dear to your heart and precious to you be my passion, my focus and my life goals. Create in me a genuine thirst and hunger for the salvation of souls for without which any treasure accumulated will be destroyed by moth and rust, or stolen by thieves. Holy Spirit teach me what it means to be a disciple of Christ, and reveal to me the biblical meaning of discipleship and disciple-making as i seek to obeythe Great Commission commanded in Matthew 28:18-20. I give you praise and adoration Father, and in Jesus' name I pray.

God Honors A Forgiving Heart

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14'-15 (ESV)

Heavenly Father my spirit is refreshed by this divine truth in that you affirm me on how true forgiveness can be graciously granted to me and is available all the times. I desire to grow to be caring, loving and forgiving towards others for these qualities are made possible by your divine grace and mercy. I receive them daily for they are new every morning. Holy Spirit empower me to apply this truth this week. In Jesus' gracious name I pray.

Knowing Weaknesses Overcoming Temptations

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Matthew 6:13 (ESV)

Heavenly Father every morning my heart would get joyful and feel peaceful when i look at the bright beautiful greenery surrounding me. Walking and gazing at all the stoic trees parading along my pathway towards MRT station makes me think about you, the Giver of life and full of goodness. However your Word today reminds me of real evil and wickedness existing everywhere and lurking at every corner ever ready to snatch me from living victoriously and walking obediently to you. I ask for your discernment, wisdom and insight so that I can be aware of the subtleties of Satan's fiery darts in my weakest moments. Holy Spirit I submit to you my thoughts, desires and speech in my walk with you today. In Jesus' awesome name I pray.

Forgiven To Forgive

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Matthew 6:12 (ESV)

Heavenly Father I have received the inner peace deep in my soul that can only be given from above, that is from you. Father I know I am cleansed and forgiven even before I was born for Christ's death and resurrection has saved me from my sins and reconciled me with you. May my heart be tender and forgiving towards the ignorant, the angry or the hurting as they react against your truth and ignore yiur mercy letting sins continue to reign in their lives. Father help me also to exercise this virtue of forgiveness daily, so that my heart is pure and faith simple constantly. In Jesus' name I ask and pray.

True Thankfulness

Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11 (ESV)

Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for this beautiful morning that I can enjoy your wonderful creation afresh, especially every human I am meeting for we are indeed fearfully and wonderfully created in your image and likeness. Father may I learn the true meaning of giving sincere thanksgiving to you for every kind of providence and provision, be it spiritual or physical. This moment I pause and give thanks to you for my daily bread that nourishes my body and strengthens my inner man. May I also learn to reflect on your goodness and greatness throughout this brand new week. In Jesus' lovely name I give thanks.

Living Out God's Perfect Will

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 (ESV).

Dear Heavenly Father your kingdom is within me, in my heart, as I am born of the Spirit and are living out kingdom life here on earth. I know you want me to live in your will daily, in your perfect will, like in Heaven, my eternal home with you. Help me to align my step with your perfect will.  May all the things I am doing at work and at home, and the people I am living and interacting with, even plans for the future, are about living in your perfect will. Father I thank you for the divine peace living in your will.  I give you thanks and praise in Jesus' wonderful name.

May My Life Be Holy

Pray then like this: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Matthew 6:9 (ESV)

Heavenly Father as I reflect on your holiness, I am taking a solemn inward look at myself examining what has been going on in my life. As i reflect on my feelings, desires, weaknesses, regrets and hopes, I want to keep abiding in you, and live a life of holiness. For without which I cannot and will not experience deeply your holy presence and fellowship with you enjoying your love, joy and peace. Father let your holiness be my motivation to walk in purity of heart and a life of worship unto you. In Jesus' name I pray.

God Is My Motivation

But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Matthew 6:17-18 (ESV).

Heavenly Father let every spiritual discipline like fasting, prayer, meditation, solitude, Bible Study and many more be done because of my love for Christ and is to glorify your holy name. I will always treasure what Christ has done for me at the Cross, which is so dear, personal to my heart. I am now blessed with abundant life and shall spend eternity with Him. Thank you Heavenly Father.

He Knows My Every Need

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Matthew 6:8 (ESV).

Heavenly Father thank you very much for this assurance of your omnipresence in that you are an all knowing God. There is nothing in my heart whether is my need, desire or hope that can be hidden from you. I take much comfort in this knowing that you know best on when to provide for me, and and how much is good for my spiritual growth. Once again, I commit to you all areas of needs as i abide in your love and walk in your perfect will. Let today be a day filled with trust in your providence and joy in your abiding presence. In Jesus' wonderful name I give thanks to you Father.

God Looks At My Heart

Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 6:1 (ESV).

Dear Heavenly Father you remind me that what is in my heart really matters to you when comes to doing good works in and for the community. May i truly represent Jesus in words and deeds, so that the poor and sick will experience Christ's divine love and will testify of your goodness and mercy one day. Thank you Father for the great privilege of co-labouring with you. May I do your perfect will for me daily. In Jesus' name I pray.

Christ Be Formed In Me

You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48 (ESV).

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for another blessed morning and I know this beautiful sunny day is a precious gift from you. Every conversation with you can be wonderful experience of deepening intimacy, for you are nurturing me towards greater maturity in Christ day by day. Help me not to lose sight of my Christian goal which is to have Christ fully formed in me, as i keep denying myself, taking up my cross and following you daily. May i keep my conscience blameless, mind renewed and inner man strengthened, as i seek to love all people regardless of their intentions, and touch their lives in every possible way by the power of to your Spirit today. In Jesus' name I pray.

God Ordains And Blesses Every Marital Relationship

It was also said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.' But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. Matthew 5:31-32 (ESV).

Dear Heavenly Father every human relationship is precious to you, and it can and should be healthy characterized by the wonderful expression of agape love, especially marital relationships from which strong Christian families are firmly established reflecting the abiding and sweet presence of Christ. Father I sincerely thank you for many beautiful people from all walks of life that you bring into my life. May I cherish every one of them who, like me, is wonderfully and fearfully created by you. Also, may I always be very thankful for the richness they bring to my spiritual growth and maturity in Christ, and more so, to the strengthening of the blessed marital relationship you give me. May I be a blessing to someone needy today. In Jesus' lovely name I pray and give thanks.

Self-control Over What I See

You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28 (ESV).

Dear Heavenly Father help me to exercise self-control over what I see in the marketplace while facing all kinds of temptations and people around me. Many lustful and impure thoughts can conjure up in my mind, if leave it unguarded or fail to exercise self-discipline by not submitting to you wholeheartedly. Holy Spirit may I experience the joy of obedience to your leading, and always be mindful that I can grief you in a moment of lust and stubbornness. Every sin committed is a sin against you personally. Holy Spirit I thank you for your strength to walk with you in purity, peace power and purpose. May I truly love you with all my heart, mind, soul and strength as you you guide and bless me in this fresh new week. In Jesus' victorious name I pray.

Flesh Cruficied To Reveal Christ's Righteousness

For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Matthew 5:20 (ESV).

Dear Holy Spirit, lead me gently, yet unmistakely, to hear your still small voice convicting me of self-centeredness or any  egoistic behaviour resulted from fleshy manifestation of self-righteousness. Reveal to me more areas of my life that need to have my flesh cruficied, so that Christ's righteousness may be revealed in and through my life.  May others see that I am clothed wih Christ's righteousness and my thoughts and deeds are extensions of His righteousness in me. Teach me Holy Spirit that I may learn to give God the glory for every good work done by the grace of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name I pray.

May My Good Works Be Light Pointing Others To Christ

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV).

Heavenly Father I know that being your light wherever I go, especially in places of darkness, is a wonderful privilege. Holy Spirit I desire to partner with you to produce good works. May you open the eyes of my friends, family members and colleagues who are still spiritually blinded, and enable them to see the need to respond to this good news, and receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. May i be mindful that my life reflect, and not obstruct, the beautiful light of Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray.
