Hope In God Alone

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:24

Reflection: As we put our hope in God  despite seemingly difficult and challenging circumstance, our heart shall be strengthened by God Himself for He truly cares and loves us.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am reminded again of your assurance of help in time of my deepest need for i shall experience deliverance, healing and restoration in your perfect timing.

Strength And a Peace Come From The Lord

Reflection: As beloved children of God, He fills our heart with His peace and empowers us with His strength throughout our spiritual journey walking with Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for divine peace and strength experienced daily, which truly makes me feel belonged and loved by you.

I Trust My Lord

The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Psalm 28:7 ESV

Reflection: Our whole being lives and moves by the breath of the living God, and it is natural to feel the quiet peace and inner joy in our heart when reflecting of Christ's goodness and greatness.

Dear Heavenly Father, i love you for being my God and for loving me all the times. Thank you for daily strength  to help me become what I am and be a blessing to others.

Continuing In The Grace Of God

And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God. Acts 13:43 ESV

Reflection: As Christ's disciples, we need to keep encouraging one another to continue living in the grace of God for through Him we experience life abundant, meaningful and purposeful.

Dear Heavenly Father, may i continue to walk in your grace and keep trusting you to protect and provide.

Reflection: Christ-centered thoughts, words and actions are behaviors that reflect a Christian with a God-fearing heart.

Reflection: God's Word pierces into the heart of man and bring about conviction of who man is and who God is in a deep and personal way.

Dear Heavenly Father, your Word provides me with a clear self-awareness of who I am in Christ and what your desire is for me in view of Christ's glorious return.

God Sends His People For Mission

Reflection: God sends His people for mission locally and globally to continue the work of Jesus at the right time, to right place and with right team.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for another blessed day filled with your steadfast love and great mercy for they are new every morning. May i be a blessing and fulfill the work you would like me to accomplish today.

Sensitivity To God's Holy Calling

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." Acts 13:2 ESV

Reflection: God makes specific call with clear purpose to us to carry out and complete His divine tasks through which salvation, healing and deliverance are brought to many for the glory of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, may my life be a gift to many particularly to the  poor and sick as i carry out and complete the task that i have been entrusted.

Angel Sent By God

When Peter came to himself, he said, "Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting." Acts 12:11  ESV

Reflection: In times of danger and difficult circumstance in our walk with Jesus, God can send His angel to minister to us for He knows what is best for us.

Reflection: As God's servants labouring together for and with Christ, to constantly keeping one another in prayer is essential and paramount especially brothers and sisters who are under persecution or in great need of spiritual support to experience breakthrough in their circumstances.

Reflection: Our lives and calling on earth have a beginning and an ending because Christ, who saves and sanctifies us, shall bring everything in us into completion according to His purpose, plan and perfect will.

Ministering To Poor

And one of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the world (this took place in the days of Claudius).So the disciples determined, everyone according to his ability, to send relief to the brothers living in Judea. Acts 11:28-29 ESV

Reflection: Though being poor is not God's perfect for His people, He prepares and provides for the poor and needy through the Body of Christ that continue to follow His foot step of doing good and saving lives from poverty stricken region.

Dear Heavenly Father, i am deeply encouraged by the magnanimity of your heart of love and the great mercy for poor, powerless and penniless. May i a doer and not only talked of your Word.

Reflection: God's grace enables us to remain faithful to Jesus and helps us to keep our focus in life with clear and meaningful purpose so that we can deepen our love for God and compassion for the those who need His marvellous grace of love and salvation.

When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, "Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life." Acts 11:18  ESV

Reflection: Through the work of the Holy Spirit, God's wonderful grace upon us will touch our heart to repent leading us to experience His life and life abundantly, one that is filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for your abiding presence to comfort me in time of need and confront me in time of disobedience by the gracious work of the Holy Spirit.

Every Soul Deserves To Hear God's Word

Now the apostles and the brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. Acts 11:1 ESV

Reflection: While we keep God's Word in our heart so that we can walk in Christ's love, how much more shall His Word be heard and received by those who still do not have a chance to hear the ministry of Jesus Christ on earth to save every soul from the burning hell.

Dear Heavenly Father, may the love of Jesus in me open my heart to feel for the missing, misguided, the miserable.

Gift Of The Holy Spirit

And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles. Acts 10:45  ESV

Reflection: The greatest joy in life is experiencing a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit, God Almighty Himself, for this is made possible to all sinners who repent of their sins that enable them to receive the forgiveness of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, may this joy be experienced by my family members as i lift them, one by one, before the throne of grace so that all of them shall find mercy through Jesus Christ.

Believe In God's Forgiveness Of Sins

To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." Acts 10:43  ESV

Reflection: Every soul needs the forgiveness of sins and this is through believing Jesus who had exchanged His life for ours by the shedding of His blood on the cross for us.

Dear Heavenly Father, may your unconditional love that brings forgiveness of sins be felt in a deeper way as i reflect on life, death and resurrection of Christ, my Savior and Lord.

Healing For The Oppressed

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. Acts 10:38 ESV

Reflection: Jesus desires His Body to continue to go about doing good and heal those who are unwell, unfortunate and unloved because they are still groping in darkness of sins, sicknesses and satanic power.

Dear Heavenly Father, may i let your light so shine into the lives of these spiritually blinded to bring about healing, deliverance and salvation in their lives.

So I sent for you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord." Acts 10:33 ESV

Reflection: God's presence can  be felt whenever two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this assurance of your abiding presence when your people come together to hear your Word and for the edification of the Body of Christ.

Reflection: Like apostle Peter, God will lead us into situation where people who are already spiritually hungry to receive the good news of Jesus Christ for the first time, and experience the a deep presence and strong presence of the Holy Spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father, may i be sensitive to your leading into specific situation and people whom you have prepared their heart to hear the gospel.
