Ask God With Confidence

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John  5:14-15 ESV

Reflection: Living and walking in the Will of God gives us confidence that God always answers our prayers for all our requests, whether big or small, urgent or important, He hears and He acts to give us the best in Christ Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father, this great assurance of answered prayer brings peace and strength to start this fresh new day and week with you.

Personal History With God

For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.  Psalm 61:5 ESV

Reflection: Because every child of God has a personal history with Him, God knows each child intimately and has bestowed upon him the glorious inheritance in him enabling him to be the person He wants him to be.

Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for this wonderous spiritual blessings upon me as your redeemed child to help me to be more like Christ.

God's Presence Is All That Matters

With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes. Psalm 60:12  ESV

Reflection: Everything we do to experience breakthrough in difficult situation and to have the peace and joy in our heart will depend on whether God is with us through it all.

Dear Heavenly Father, may this day be fruitful and bring blessings to many as you lead and empower me by your abiding presence. Amen

Commit And Trust

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.  Psalm 37:5 ESV

Reflection: Our confidence lies in trusting in God's holy Word of assurance of guidance and His abiding presence strengthens our desire to commit to God what matters in our heart.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, today I commit to you everything i plan to do, trusting you to guide me in my conversations, thoughts and actions. Amen

Fully Trust God For Every Need

But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.  Psalm 59:16 ESV

Reflection: We are created with a dependency on our Creator God, who delights in our relationship with Him undergirded by His steadfast love which makes it possible for us to come to Him for protection, provision and providence.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, i trust you for my every need daily knowing your love for me is never changes and your faithfulness never fails. Amen.

God Judges Every Soul He Creates

Mankind will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth."  Psalm 58:11 ESV

Reflection: Our lives can reflect the image and likeness of God which is the purpose of His handiwork, or disobedience and deceitfulness of man which brings eternal death on the day of Judgment.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, may i treasure every breath given to experience abundant life, and every moment with you to continue to do the work of Jesus Christ.

True Rest For The Soul

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."  Matthew 11:28-30  ESV

Reflection: True rest for our souls is found in taking the yoke of Jesus who is meet and gentle towards us as we do His perfect will on earth.

Dear Heavenly Father, teach me that i may learn how to take the yoke of Jesus everyday so that i may experience true rest for my soul.

God Is The Source Of Life

For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.  Psalm 56:13 ESV

Reflection: Every breath we take in brings life to our body, and the source of this breath of life is God whose living Word tells us that In Him we live and move and have our being.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, i want to experience a deeper measure of your eternal love in my walk with you today, and to embrace a fuller meaning of eternal life given to me unconditionally through Christ Jesus.

Experience The Goodness Of God Constantly

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble. Psalm 107:1-2 ESV

Reflection: In all His ways towards us, His redeemed, God shows Himself that He is good, and His goodness and steadfast love can be experienced constantly.

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to declare your goodness like the Psalmist, for your ways and thoughts are always good towards me.

Heart Pure Faith Simple

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:17 ESV

Reflection: God knows everything that is our heart, thought and desire and He wants us to come before His throne of grace as we are  -  completely cleansed and humbled by His love and forgiveness.

Dear Heavenly Father, i come into your presence with a heart filled with reverence, peace and joy offering my life to be a gift to bless others with your unconditional love and mercy.

God Knows Who Loves Him

But if anyone loves God, he is known by God. 1 Corinthians 8:3 ESV

Reflection: To love God is having a personal, one-to-one intimate relationship with Him, as God is our Heavenly Father who knows everything about us, our strengths, habits, desires, needs,  hopes, inadequacies and also what is best for us now and the future.

Dear Heavenly Father, may i have more daily conversations with you from the time i am awake and before i lie in bed everyday,  so that i may know you in a deep and personal way.

My Calling In Christ Jesus

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 ESV

Reflection: Every child of God has a divine calling to fulfill to bring blessings of Christ's healing, forgiveness and love to the lost.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this Word of assurance, and the grace to make my life purposeful and meaningful in Christ Jesus.

Call Upon God For He Delivers

Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me."  Psalm 50:14-15 ESV

Reflection: Keeping our heart close to the things of God and obediently doing His Will truly glorify Him, as He watches over all our needs physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Dear Heavenly Father, i pray for divine protection as there are many things that i see, hear and feel daily can easily distract me from walking in your love and abiding in your Word.

Holy Spirit Dwells In Our Bodies

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV

Reflection: It costs the life of Jesus Christ whose blood was shed at the cross for every human soul so that everyone can have access to Heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit indwelling in his or her body.

Dear Heavenly Father, i may not understand how your Spirit can dwell in my body, however, i experience the joy and peace of being able to come before your throne of grace and find mercy daily as i walk this earthly journey with you.

Reflecting On God's Love And Righteousness

We have thought on your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of your temple. As your name, O God, so your praise reaches to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is filled with righteousness. Psalm 48:9-10 ESV

Reflection: To experience emotionally the love of God strengthens our relationship with God whom we believe is our Creator and personally know Him as our Heavenly Father, loving and righteous.

Dear Lord Jesus, i am forever yours and eternally grateful for the shed blood at calvary cross to show you are both loving and righteous towards me.

Be Still - God Is With Us

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah  Psalm 45:10-11  ESV

Reflection: When we quieten our heart and let our soul rest in God's divine presence, He will lead us to experience a sense of stillness assuring our spirit that He is the Almighty God,  our fortress, who always watches over us everyday.

Dear Heavenly Father, may my heart and mind reflect and meditate on your love and goodness in a deeper way today as i walk in your love and abide in your Word.

God Knows Our Heart

If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread out our hands to a foreign god, would not God discover this? For he knows the secrets of the heart. Psalm 44:20-21 ESV

Reflection: Our every deed or thought is known by God for His Spirit dwells in us to convict as well as comfort.

Dear Heavenly Father, may i reflect on your goodness and mercy daily, even as i search my heart while giving thanks and praise for who you are to me.

Hope In God Regardless...

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. Psalm 43:5 ESV

Reflection: Every born again,  God-fearing child of God is loved and care by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ no matter how challenging his situation is because He already saved him, and will neither leave or forsake him.

Dear Heavenly Father, every breath I take is proof of your life-giving Spirit residing in me, for whom I am eternally grateful.  I praise you Lord!

God Of My Life

By day the LORD commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.  Psalm 42:8 ESV

Reflection: God's steadfast love never leave us, and His Spirit in us enable us to praise the God of our lives.

Dear Heavenly Father, keep my heart pure and faith simple as i remain in your love and faithfulness the rest of my life.

God Always Remembers The Poor

Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the LORD delivers him.  Psalm 41:1 ESV

Reflection: One thing that pleases God is when Christians within the Body of Christ remember the poor, especially those in our midst, and provide practical help to share with and care for them.

Dear Heavenly Father, may this fresh new week begins with the  desire to reach out to the poor and needy who cross my path, and may they experience your bountiful blessings.

Jesus Has Saved My Soul

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the Lord!” Psalm 40:16

Reflection: We have every reason to rejoice because Jesus is the only way to God for He has said that no one goes to the Father except through me.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I am saved by the blood of Christ and I am able to experience the inner joy in my heart for your abiding presence will never leave me.

Living In God's Will

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. Psalm 40:8

Reflection: A truly blessed Christian is one who knows he is living and walking in God's divine will, and feels emotionally secured and safe even when he is alone all by himself.

Dear Heavenly Father, may I seek you always to live under the leading of the Holy Spirit and be discerning to walk in your perfect will fory life here on earth.

God Hears And Hears

I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. Psalm 40:1-2

Reflection: Putting complete trust in Jesus, our Author and Perfecter of our faith, regardless of our situation or condition is a step in the right direction to experience peace and assurance of divine help.

Dear Heavenly Father, my life is in your loving hand and my heart submits to your divine leading for you know me and understand fully my situation. Thank you for your assuring word of promise and hope.

God Is Merciful And faithful

Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Psalm 36:5

Reflection: No one can fully fathom the breadth, height and depth of God's mercy and faithfulness towards us daily because God is eternal, infinite and omniscience.

Dear Heavenly Father, as I look to the stars at night and into the heavens you created, my heart quietly marvel at your handiwork for all these reflect who you are, all wise God as well as full of merciful.

Angelic Visitation To Protect And Preserve

The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalm 34:7

Reflection: God's assurance of protection and providence towards His children through His angels is perfect in timing and purposeful in His redemptive plan.

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to trust you fully and unreservedly believing you are in control of every situation in my life, and your way of bringing healing, health and help is beyond human reasoning.

Godly Fear Receives Mercy And Deliverance

Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Psalm 33:18-19

Reflection: God watches over God-fearing hearts and brings deliverance to their souls for He is ever merciful and full of compassion.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am truly grateful for knowing you through Jesus Christ, and now I am thankful for watching over me with your grace and mercy

God Preserves And Protects

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:7

Reflection: Our reliance, hope and trust is in God who is our hiding place and deliverance.
