His Voice is Spirit And Life

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.  John 6:63 (ESV).

Dear Lord Jesus, I hear your voice when I read the inspired, holy Word of God every morning.  It is indeed spirit and life to my soul.   Your sweet, gentle voice refreshes my inner being. Lord, may I learn to walk in the Spirit trusting your guidance as I go about doing the daily activities.  May I experience the joy of obedience and touch those who are spiritually hungry and thirsty along the way.  In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Daily Seeking Fully Believing

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (ESV).

Dear Heavenly Father, I desire to please you because you are truly my God and i sense your abiding presence in my life. You speak to me through my conscience. You speak to my spirit through impressions and scriptural verses flashing through my mind. You speak through wonderful people and obvious circumstances. You speak to me whenever i meditate on your Word. I know i belong to you and the Kingdom to come. I believe your promise that i shall always have the very best from you in every area of my life. Father, may my desire to seek you and trust you bring you joy and gladness. May I keep obeying every instruction, correction, promise and direction you have for me. Thank you Heavenly Father for you are full of goodness, grace and generosity. In Jesus' name I give thanks.

Having Jesus Having Everything

Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6:35 (ESV).

Dear Lord Jesus, having you is to have everything I need for you are always there for me. You sustain, strengthen and satisfy me in all situations, oftentimes without me knowing it. Every morning as I feed on you, my Living Bread, I experience your divine presence, peace and power to walk with you and do God's will. I am blessed, protected and grateful because you are real to me. I give you sincere thanks and praise Lord Jesus.

I Can Experience Miracle!

When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. But he said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid." Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going. John 6:19-21 (ESV).

Dear Lord Jesus, you perform two amazing miracles here - walking on water amid stormy sea and bringing the boat to the shore immediately upon stepping onto the boat. Today I am enlightened by this wonderful truth that you will do miraculous thing to fulfill God's purpose. I am believing that you can do miracles in my life, as I seek to do God's perfect will and to be more Christlike. I am trusting you for this experience and i know it can happen at anytime for you know what I need and your timing is always perfect. Thank you Jesus!

Jesus Knows Best

Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, "Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?" He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, "Two hundred denarii would not buy enough bread for each of them to get a little." John 6:5-7 (ESV).

Dear Lord Jesus, sometimes I do walk by sight when I am disturbed by seemingly unfavorable circumstances. I easily give in to human logic and rely on man's opinions, forgetting your promise in that every provision and protection shall be given to me if I would seek first the Kingdom and your righteousness. Teach me Lord to trust and obey for you already know what to do and what is best for me. I am thankful for your timely word of divine guidance. In your precious name I pray and give thanks.

Reality Of Complete Redemption

Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment. John 5:28-29 (ESV).

Heavenly Father, it is a wonderful reminder to me on the reality of my complete redemption, which is the day of resurrection when I shall receive the glorious body prepared for me and all my brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ. May this timely divine truth translate into a fruitful life of discipleship and witnessing at work, home and community daily. Thank you Father for your assurance of salvation and the divine peace and joy experienced in my spirit. In Jesus' name I give thanks.

Forgiven, Sin No More!

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, "See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you." John 5:14 (ESV).

Heavenly Father, I take heed of this warning that sin, more specifically sinning as a lifestyle, can and will destroy my body filling it with diseases and sicknesses. May I always be thankful and not let the instant pleasure of sins snatch away the divine health that I am blessed with. Father I declare my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and an instrument of righteousness, holiness and love. Thank you Lord Jesus for your forgiveness of my sins at the cross.  In Jesus' name I pray.

Obeying Upon Hearing God's Voice

The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”  Jesus said to him,  The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way.  As he was going down, his servants  met him and told him that his son was recovering.

Lord Jesus, every word you say to me refreshes my soul for it is spirit and life. It fills me with hope, assures me of God’s promises, empowers me to witness, stirs me to love, increases my faith in you, and  inspires me to share the good news that brings healing to the spirit, soul and body.  Lord, help me to put aside quality time daily to hear your voice, and like this official, believe you and act out what you would like me to do.  Thank you Jesus!  

I Speak He Saves

The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things." Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am he." John 4: 25 - 26 (ESV).

Dear Lord Jesus, many many people here and abroad have in their conscience know there is a Creator God. Deep inside them, as I had, an on-going yearning to be set free from the bondage of sins, evil, fears, hopelessness and sadness. Lord, help me to be sensitive and boldly witness to the spiritually hungry and ready to receive your saving grace. May I be your mouthpiece so that you shall say to them in their spirit "I who speak to you am he". Let this weekend be a joyful and blessed declaration of your eternal love and everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray.

Divine Grace Strengthens Me

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthiams 12 : 9 - 10 (ESV).

Dear Lord Jesus, I can have your grace, divinely given to empower me in times of challenging external circumstances. Yes Lord, like Paul in his experience, I am quietly but confidently declaring that when I am weak then I am strong for I receive your grace. I release all fears to you. Thank you Jesus for strengthening me.

Only When God Gives

John answered, "A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven. You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, 'I am not the Christ, but I have been sent before him.' John 3: 27 - 28 (ESV).

Heavenly Father, who I am and what I have come directly from Heaven, and personally from you. Help me to take time today to reflect on my life as your beloved child, wonderfully saved and eternally yours. May I meditate on what I have received from you - family, health, finance, job, ministry, Body of Christ, friends, colleagues and, more importantly, the Holy Spirit in my heart assuring me of God's abiding presence wherever I am. I commit everything to your guiding hand. In Jesus' mighty name I pray.

Born Again And Spirit-led

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3: 8 (ESV).


Holy Spirit, you reveal Christ to me and now live with and in me making my spirit comes alive to the things of God. This born again experience is the most awesome and important thing happens in my life. I have entered into the Kingdom of light and am living with Jesus, my Savior and Lord, now and throughout eternity. I believe it, I am eternally grateful, and I shan't be keeping silent but shall zealously share this agape love to as many as you lead. Holy Spirit, teach me, guide me and empower me every moment and every day. Let the desire to love and to share shall be kept aflame daily till my last breath. In Jesus' name I pray.

Crucified Life Christlike Life

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatiams 2: 20 (ESV).

Lord Jesus, I ask you to walk along side me to have this experiential understanding of being crucified with you. I want to know you deeper, as I go through this process of being crucified with you today. Enlighten me and strengthen me to make this spiritual experience a daily reality I pray. May I be more like you in holiness, love, goodness, patience and many godly attributes as you were while on earth loving us and doing the Father's will. My sincere adoration to you as my dear Savior and wonderful Lord.

Seeing Miracles Believing Christ

And said to him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now." This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him. John 2: 10-11 (ESV).

Lord Jesus, while miracles reveal the glory of God and bring joy to man like here in a wedding, however I know that your deep desire is to bring as many souls to believe in you, the Savior of our soul, Redeemer of our sins and Healer of our body. Lord, may I meditate on this greatest miracle and let your amazing love ignite the fire within me and to light up the path of many, especially loved ones, who are still groping in the dark. May your Spirit in me empower me to be a bold witness trusting you to turn their sorrow into joy for the glory of God. In your mighty name I pray Lord Jesus!

Worship Through Living Sacrifice

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.  Romans 12:1-2 (ESV).

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your great mercy toward me, and your deep desire to see me have the best from you.  I know that who I am and what I do daily is spiritual worship to you, one that should reflect your holiness and goodness.  May my attitude and thought life keep renewing constantly, so that I can know and walk in your perfect will in every area of my life including family, work, ministry, finance, and relationships. In Jesus’ blessed name I pray.
