"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:7-8 (ESV).
Father God, I know that without faith it is impossible to please you, let alone receiving answered prayers from you. Teach me to understand what it means to trust you, so that I shall not be overcome by fear or anxiety or negative and discouraging circumstance. My confidence is in you. I commit every area of my life and life itself to you - family, ministry, career, plans, desires, daily needs, friends, hobbies, relationships, health, finances, future, etc. Thank you for your promises and for listening to my prayers. In Jesus' name I pray.
