Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away. For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits. James 1:9-11 ESV.
Dear Heavenly Father the joy of experiencing true riches by walking the narrow way is indeed what really matters so as not to lose sight of eternity with you in Heaven. I pray that my heart loves you with purity and joy, even as i manage the earthly riches delegated to me to accomplish the purpose to which i am called. Father i also pray that you multiply the five loaves and two fishes for the extension of your Kingdom especially to the poor and sick. I commit this blessed day to your mighty hand. In Jesus' name i give thanks.
