And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him. And he appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) so that they might be with him and he might send them out to preach and have authority to cast out demons. Mark 3:13-15 ESV.
Dear Heavenly Father i thank you for your timely assurance in that when you call me to be with you and to do the work you desired of me, you would enable and empower me. May i be diligent to seek you wholeheartedly and serve you faithfully. Let there be someone touched by your grace and mercy today as you lead me. In Jesus' wonderful name i pray.
