When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent (Proverb 10:19) ESV.

Father, each time you speak to me your words give life to my soul. My spirit is quickened and wonderful thoughts will start to flow into my mind. I need to learn this - to speak words that lift up the spirit of others with love and grace. May I also learn to listen more and be careful not to speak unhealthy words or words that can lead to sin or defilement.  In Jesus' name I pray.
