Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me (Psalm 23:4) ESV.

Father, I am very much comforted by your word of assurance that you are with me. Your abiding presence in my heart is what truly matters. No matter what is the external circumstance of the 'valley', I know I am just passing through it together you. Thank you Father also that your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. In Jesus' name I give you thanks with a grateful heart.
