Love, Life, Resurrection!

Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away." Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned and said to him in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher). Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to  me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord"-and that he had said these things to her. John 20:15-18 (ESV).

Lord Jesus, Mary Magdalene loves you so much because she has been deeply touched by your unconditional love and awesome power as you had cast out seven demons from her (Luke 8:2). Since then her life has never been the same again. She wanted to cling on to you to show her deep affection for you. I am grateful to Mary for encouraging me to walk closer and deeper with you. O how wonderful that she is the first to have seen you – a new body, a resurrected body! A privilege for a her to declare it to the disciples. She also has the joy of hearing you said that "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God". I am truly overwhelmed Lord by this powerful truth! May i dwell on this marvellousl truth, meditate on it and sense your strong abiding presence like what Mary experienced on that glorious day. Thank you Jesus!
