I Love Because He First Loves

The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:31 ESV

Reflection: God's love in me is so real, unconditional and divine enabling me to truly love myself, and empowering me to love others with His amazing love.

Dear Heavenly Father, indeed beautiful and lovely are all your creations especially man for they reflect your image and likeness. May i embrace your divine love with gratefulness and let it flow through me and bring smile, joy and even life to others today. In Jesus' lovely name i pray.

Loving God With Purity And Pleasure

Jesus answered, "The most important is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'  Mark 12:29-30 ESV.

Reflection: To love God is the purest thing every born again child of God can enjoy where divine intimacy is experienced bringing pleasure to both God and man.

Dear Heavenly Father, i love you with everything i have been given - time, treasure, talents. May my heart be pure and faith simple as i enjoy this blessed privilege of divine intimacy with you In Jesus' lovely name i pray.

God Is A Personal, Living And Eternal God

And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not God of the dead, but of the living. You are quite wrong." Mark 12:26-27 ESV

Truth: God is a personal, living and eternal God who raises the dead, and gathers those have received Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord through repentance and forgiveness of sins by the blood of Christ, to live with Him throughout eternity.

Dear Heavenly Father, what an assurance and a joy to be reminded that you are a living God actively involved in my daily life so that i may know you and love you for this is the purpose for creating me. May this joy be shared with someone today. In Jesus' blessed name i pray.

Knowing God's Word And His Power

Scripture
Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?” For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.  Mark 12:24-25 ESV.

Truth
Every soul shall be raised after physical death to face God for there is accountability of life given and spent on earth.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, may I read and meditate your Word in my heart and mind daily, and experience the power of your love, healing and deliverance to be a blessing to the sick in spirit, soul and body. Help me to take my walk with you seriously as this precious life is bought by the blood of Jesus. May I present to you a living sacrifice with a fragrance that is pleasing to you.  In Jesus’ wonderful name I pray.

Godliness And Worldliness Don't Mix

Jesus said to them, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they marveled at him. Mark 12:17 ESV.

Truth: My Christian values and beliefs separate me from the carnal and temporal things of this world.

Dear Heavenly Father, may my values be heavenward characterised by righteousness, love and joy in the Holy Spirit so that i shan't be tempted, deceived and led astray by the spirit of materialism, falsehood and greed. In Jesus' worthy name i pray.

I Am Assured Of God’s Power And Presence

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 ESV.

Truth: God’s presence and power shall be with every disciple who is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost, and teach and guide them to become disciples who will love and obey God.

Dear Heaven Father, I thank you for this promise, assurance and reminder that your presence and power shall go with me as I seek to share Christ with my loved ones, friends, colleagues and even strangers.  May this blessed experience keep encouraging me to love you wholeheartedly and serve you faithfully. In Jesus’ awesome name I pray.

Prayer Brings Divine Peace

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 ESV.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for abundant life and for walking with me daily.  Your abiding presence is assuring and encouraging as you empower me to live a life of holiness, righteousness and gladness. If there is any anxiety in me today, I am reminded that I am just a prayer away to experience your divine peace.  You shall manifest your divine peace in my heart and mind. Father, thank you for this promise of divine peace in my spirit through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.  In Jesus’ blessed name I pray and give thanks.
