Dear Lord Jesus I ask for fresh understanding of what it means to be a Christian, saved and called as your ambassador wherever I am. To know the deliberate effort you put in order to teach, preach and heal everywhere you go tells me that I do have a sacred calling to be good and faithful servant of the good news being entrusted to me. May I be conscious of this mission and not be absorbed into the busyness of day-to-day work and activities thus missing opportunities to encourage, share, or pray for people around me. I commit this wonderful week to your guiding hand. In your precious name I pray.

Everything Is Done For The Glory Of God

As they were going away, behold, a demon-oppressed man who was mute was brought to him. And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, "Never was anything like this seen in Israel." Matthew 9:32-33 (ESV)

Dear Heavenly Father your Word today affirms me that Christ's healing and deliverance upon this mute is a right thing to do and His motive is to reveal your agape love towards all men. Father, whatever i do, i desire to do it for your glory, and not to be distracted by external circumstances like applause, acclamation or antagonism. Also, I am joyfully aware of this wonderful peace in me each time I seek to do the right thing with right motive like giving gospel tracts to foreign workers daily knowing you will touch them personally. Let the Sabbath today be another blessed and refreshing time with you and family. In Jesus' precious name I give thanks.

Yes Lord, Heal Me!

When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to him, "Yes, Lord." Then he touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith be it done to you." And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, "See that no one knows about it." Matthew 9:28-30 (ESV)

Dear Lord Jesus I submit everything I am and have into your trusting arm knowing that your healing touch shall be upon any area in my spirit, soul and body that needs restoration and strength. Filled me Holy Spirit to do the work of God with joy, peace and anointing. May i be a vessel to release your healing and salvation to my family, friends, and the needy. May they humbly say yes to your bidding. I commit this beautiful Saturday to your loving hand Jesus. In your holy name I pray

Jesus Knows My Faith

And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, for she said to herself, "If I only touch his garment, I will be made well." Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, "Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well." And instantly the woman was made well. Matthew 9:20-22 (ESV)

Dear Lord Jesus you are all knowing, all present and all wise for you are God to me. You know what is in my heart and the faith I have in you. This moment I ask that you remember my sick brothers and sisters who need your healing touch. Lord, strengthen their faith in you despite the discomfort and pain. May they look to you as the Source of all healings and keep trusting in your love, goodness and grace. I also want to thank you Lord for restoring my body to divine health. I desire to see this healthy body be used as instrument of your wonderful grace and mercy, and channel of healing and divine health. In your mighty name I ask and pray.

Newness Of Life Because Of Jesus

Neither is new wine put into old wineskins. If it is, the skins burst and the wine is spilled and the skins are destroyed. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved." Matthew 9:17 (ESV)

Dear Lord Jesus as I reflect on your Word, I am elated, enlightened and also feel empowered on this fresh Thursday morning. Thank you for the spiritual insight into this wonderful truth in that having you and being with you I shall experience the newness of divine, heavenly life. Exercising spiritual disciplines like fasting is not a meaningless chore, but a privilege and a deep intimate experience when it is done by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. May I take this day to ponder and pray over this amazing truth so that the joy of the Lord shall be my strength always. In your lovely name I pray Jesus.

Jesus Brings Mercy To The Sick And The Sinners

But when he heard it, he said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 9:12-13 (ESV)

Dear Heavenly Father I receive this joyful assurance and great affirmation of Christ's rich mercy towards the sick and sinners wherever they are - In hospital, home, workplace and even on the street. Father revive in me a deeper compassion for them and let your mercy flow through by lips and actions. Help me to be sensitive to their needs and open their heart Father, so that they see and experience Jesus, His mercy and love. In Jesus' name I pray.

My Faith - A Channel For Healing

And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven." Matthew 9:2 (ESV)

Dear Heavenly Father this biblical narrative helps me to realize the importance of one's faith towards the needy like the sick and poor for through which divine healing and providence can richly flow to them bringing healing, deliverance and salvation. May I be your channel to let your healing touch be upon someone needy today. Lord Jesus I give you praise and adoration for you are truly the Giver of my life!
