Praying Together For Breakthrough

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.  Acts 4:31  ESV

Reflection: Truly when two or three are gathered to seek God and pray to Him in Jesus' name, breakthrough in the things asked for shall happen in the spiritual realm where God's throne is and are made visible in the natural strengthening our hearts to continue to  share God's love to the sick and suffering.

Dear Heavenly Father, may i keep coming to your throne of grace and find mercy for you listen and act upon every request and supplication bring before you. Truly great is your faithfulness.

Maker Of heaven And Earth

And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, "Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them.  Acts 2:24  ESV

Reflection: We have a God who owns you and me, the whole earth, the entire universe, and every single thing visible on earth and in the sky as well as those beyond our sight for He is the Creator and Sovereign God.

Dear Heavenly Father, in this beautiful morning of this fresh new day and week my mind is filled with the glorious truth of who you are to me. My heart bows before your holy presence and deeply acknowledge you are my Lord and my God.

Obedience To God And Not Man

But Peter and John answered them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge,for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard." Acts 4:19-20 ESV

Reflection: Every piece of good work done in obedience will always glorify God and edify man despite man's opposition, objection and obstacle.

Dear Heavenly Father, may my life be a sweet aroma before your throne of grace and mercy, and may it truly counts for eternity.

Dwelling Place For God

In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. Ephesians 2:22 ESV

Reflection: Our lives and everything in us, our whole being, spirit, soul and body, are dwelling place for our Creator God, who is so close and deeply intimate with us all the times.

Dear Heavenly Father, your love melts my heart to worship and embrace your majesty, glory and magnificent presence for you are dwelling in me all the times, whether i am awake or asleep.

Being With Jesus Makes A Difference

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 ESV

Reflection: Jesus in us makes a difference, and He is and will always be with us as long as we abide in Him and dwell in His love.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for loving and accepting me for who i am and for empowering me to be the person you want me to be.

No Other Name To Be Saved

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 ESV

Reflection: Every disciple of Christ has the highest privilege of bearing the life-giving name of our Lord Jesus to save lost souls from eternal hell through repentance and forgiveness of sins, and having their heart submit to the Lordship of Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father, may i be mindful daily that as your disciple,  bought  by your precious blood, to have the heart of compassion for the weak, wearied and wandering souls and be the channel of God's divine love.

In The Name Of Jesus

Let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead-by him this man is standing before you well. Acts 4:10 ESV

Reflection: Our heart takes great comfort and receives divine strength in calling, praising and proclaiming the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Dear Heavenly Father, i worship and adore you for you are a mighty, holy and loving God. I am who i am because of the name of Jesus that brings healing and restoration to my whole being.

Giving Everyone A Chance To Hear

But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand. Acts 4:4 ESV

Reflection: Everyone who knows us as friends should be given the privilege to hear what Christ has done for them so that this person would not face eternity without Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for the greatest news that i have heard and in Christ i am a new creation, the old has passed and the new has come.

God Made A Covenant With Us Through Christ

You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.' Acts 3:25  ESV

Reflection: Our covenant with God is made possible and forever through Jesus Christ whose sacrificial death at the cross of calvary brings life,  abundant and eternal, to us.

Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for this great spiritual truth which is refreshing and uplifting to my soul. I can live a Christian life of love, faith and hope because of this wonderful covenant.

Miracles Are God's Expression Of Love And Mercy

And all the people saw him walking and praising God,and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Acts 3:9-10 ESV

Reflection: Miracles like physical healing is God's way of revealing His heart particularly unconditional love and great mercy which are new every morning.

Dear Heavenly Father, my heart rejoices over the daily miracles that are happening all over the world lifting my spirit to worship and sing praises to you Father God.

Thanking God for Daily Providence

And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts.  Acts 2:46 ESV

Reflection: Our faith in God includes trusting Him for our daily practical needs like food, shelter, and safety, and our response to God is a heart filled with gladness and thanksgiving.

Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for providing me with everything i need and watching me everyday with your steadfast love and great mercy.

Life Of A Disciple

And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Reflection: As Christ's disciples we have the divine privilege and grace to know God through the Word, fellowship, Lord's supper and prayer, through which we make Him known to the community we live in.

Dear Heavenly Father, i am richly blessed by all the good things bestowed upon me, ever since i received Jesus into my heart. I give you praise and thanks in Jesus' name. Amen.

Life Abundant Is In And From God

You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of gladness with your presence.' Acts 2:28 ESV

Reflection: Living in the blessed presence of God can be a daily experience filled with gladness, vitality and abundance for God Himself richly dwells in us.

Dear Heavenly Father, i praise and thank you for loving and empowering me for i can abide in your beautiful presence all the times.

Filled By The Holy Spirit

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:4 ESV

Reflection: Our lives can make a spiritual impact on others with our words and deeds when we are filled and led by the Holy Spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father, i thank you for yet another day that you have given to me.  May i  hear and obey your voice and let my heart be led  by the Holy Spirit.

God's Love In My Heart

And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Reflection: Our heart has and will always have God's unconditional love to share with others, as we submit our lives to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father, let me go deeper into your bountiful and beautiful love today, and experience the true joy of share it with people around me.

God's Manifestation Is Real

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Acts 1:1-2 ESV

Reflection: God would reveal His holiness, love and power to us in a unique, special way coming from Heaven to fulfill His Will and purpose.

Dear Heavenly Father, you are real and powerful. You power from Heaven is beyond my imagination. I submit to you Father God and trust you to protect and provide all the days of my life on earth. Amen.

God Knows Our Heart

And they prayed and said, "You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen. to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place." Acts 1:24-25 ESV
                           
Reflection: God is as close to us as the breath we breathe for He is a Spirit who knows our every thought, feeling and intention; indeed He is our Creator God.

Dear Heavenly Father, may my whole being praises you quietly in thoughts and deeds, and be conscious of your holy presence every day.

Preparing For Jesus' Return

And said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."

Reflection: Jesus is returning for His Bride, the Church. May our heart be ever ready to receive Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, i pray that my life is glorifying to you. May my works reflect your bountiful love towards humanity you have created. Amen.

God's Love Be Make Known

And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 ESV.

Reflection: God's love for us cannot and should not be kept silent or to ourselves for our hearts have been regenerated and are now transformed into a new creation with our sins fully cleansed by the blood of Christ. We have also received His divine love and power to walk in His peace and purpose here on earth with an eternal destiny with Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father, i pray for a heart that seeks after the salvation of lost souls , and i commit my family to your loving hand. May their hearts be open to your steadfast love and mercy. Amen.

Christ Rose From The Dead!

And he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. Mark 16:6 ESV

Reflection: The only hope for man to live with God eternally is to believe Jesus, the Son of God, died and rose from the dead to give eternal life as God's free gift to man.

Dear Heavenly Father, i pray for a deeper sense of gratitude in my heart for this greatest miracle done to set me free sins, sickness and Satan forever and ever. Amen.

Looking Forward To The Kingdom Of God

Joseph of Arimathea, a respected member of the Council, who was also himself looking for the kingdom of God, took courage and went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Mark 15:43 ESV

Reflection: As Christ's followers, our hope is anchored on the full manifestation of the kingdom of God as we await Jesus' return to earth in great power and magnificent glory.

Dear Heavenly Father, as i reflect on the soon coming of Christ's return for His Church, may i walk victoriously with joy and confidence and share your love especially to the lost and dying physically and spiritually. Amen.

Human Yet Divine

And when the centurion, who stood facing him, saw that in this way he breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!" Mark 15:39 ESV

Reflection: Our Lord Jesus is divine, equal in essence with Heavenly Father and Holy Spirit, yet He reveals to us as a human, but sinless in order to be our Saviour full of compassion, sacrificial love and mercy.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this wonderful spiritual understanding of what Jesus has become for me, the Saviour of my soul, even though He is the Son of God. Amen.
